its not really eggnog, its eggliquor, which is usually way less thick (idk why hers was so thick) You can mix egg liquor with acidic drinks and this shouldnt happen... But also the Person said "a shot" of the eggnog, and Naomi added more like 3😭 Actually "schuss" is more like, the amount of oil you put into a pan when you wanna cook something

THOSE GULAB JAMUNS WERE SPOT ON!!!!!! It warmed my heart up so much they looked perfect!!! They're normally just really a little sweet treat and too much of them makes you regret life choices due to the amount of syrup in them but they looked PERFECT! You can also heat them up and serve them with vanilla ice cream and a little bit of mint as a garnish to make them less crazy sweet!

Hi Naomi, I'm Portuguese, from Porto... and vegetarian too. You did amazing with the Francesinha! Honestly the secret is the sauce so if you can make a good autenthic one its gonna taste great regardless of using actual meat alternatives or some other veggies inside... a lot of places started having vegetarian Francesinhas in the last year which is amazing for us Portuenses (people from porto) that are vegetarian since Francesinhas are a really big thing when going out for dinner here. :)

I'm an Indian & we used to make gulab jamun every now & then, but however carefully i roll my dough into balls it eventually breaks apart once it's drenched in the syrup lol... I'm glad you loved it. I'm like Vincent tho. I dont like it much sweeter & with more syrup. There's something like dry jamun with less syrup version. I like that one.

And now tried to recreate a portuguese dish, francesinha is a dish that creates much arguing in Portugal, bc no francesinha in Portugal beats up the francesinha of Porto, there's much secrets about the sauce also. Like pastel de nata, the best is in Belém, period. But I liked that version very much! Im portuguese, I've eaten a lot of francesinhas in my life. But I'm from Lisbon (also lived near Porto for 2 years)! And I'm now kinda sick from it. Very big (but can always ask for just half), and a lot of meat, so the veggie version sounds nice! THOSE GULAB JAMUNS WERE SPOT ON!!!!!! It warmed my heart up so much they looked perfect!!! They're normally just really a little sweet treat and too much of them makes you regret life choices due to the amount of syrup in them but they looked PERFECT! You can also heat them up and serve them with vanilla ice cream and a little bit of mint as a garnish to make them less crazy sweet!

Hi Naomi, I'm Portuguese, from Porto... and vegetarian too. You did amazing with the Francesinha! Honestly the secret is the sauce so if you can make a good autenthic one its gonna taste great regardless of using actual meat alternatives or some other veggies inside... a lot of places started having vegetarian Francesinhas in the last year which is amazing for us Portuenses (people from porto) that are vegetarian since Francesinhas are a really big thing when going out for dinner here. :)

I'm an Indian & we used to make gulab jamun every now & then, but however carefully i roll my dough into balls it eventually breaks apart once it's drenched in the syrup lol... I'm glad you loved it. I'm like Vincent tho. I dont like it much sweeter & with more syrup. There's something like dry jamun with less syrup version. I like that one.

And now tried to recreate a portuguese dish, francesinha is a dish that creates much arguing in Portugal, bc no francesinha in Portugal beats up the francesinha of Porto, there's much secrets about the sauce also. Like pastel de nata, the best is in Belém, period. But I liked that version very much! Im portuguese, I've eaten a lot of francesinhas in my life. But I'm from Lisbon (also lived near Porto for 2 years)! And I'm now kinda sick from it. Very big (but can always ask for just half), and a lot of meat, so the veggie version sounds nice! That must already exist somewhere in Portugal but it isn't very talked about bc most people don't agree with reducing the meat consumption. :c but I would love to try yours! My mom does them from time to time, if she could not get to the Russian market to buy tvorog she uses "körniger Frischkäse" - grained cream cheese?-, but gets a lot of the water out of it, pressing it in a cheese cloth. Tastes a little different, but really close!
