@@simonajugarih3620Kelly and Jeff Pilson have been In the band for 20 years alongside Mick Jones. Gramm walked away and hasn’t been part of this band all that time. I’d say Pilson and Kelly have as much right to be part of Foreigner as anyone else
I have no idea who you're talking about. I followed the band 70s, 80s and 90s and it was ALWAYS Lou and Mick doing interviews, TV shows, etc. This here sounds tuned down and no energy, ...lame. This is not Foreigner, period.@@aaronb856
I don't think so. They came to our town last year and it's just Foreigner by name. I think a one of the members played with some of the original band members.
I was there bro, I am so glad that someone posted this. I was on the floor of the sasktel centre and it was so much fun. Thanks for posting this it is so cool to see something I saw live Edit: I am just syncing my recording on my phone with the parts of this performance that I recorded, it's so cool man
I'm tired of these legacy bands continuing on well after their prime with all hired players🤨 Foreigner is essentially a tribute band at this point. It's like the band Chicago, still performing as Chicago yet without any original members😞
@RobMLyon Really, because I saw a video of the band Chicago from the early 2000s and there were no original members in the band at that time. P.S. in the video, they were absolutely terrible😬
So anyone who ever worked for the band can just take the name and run with it? If I was a roadie for Metallica I can take their name and go on tour singing Enter Sandman and the other things and it's ok because Foreigner? Has the whole world gone crazy? Is it just me?
The band is owned by Mick Jones. He’s not well enough to tour. But he owns the band, so he’s free to make money from it. So he hires these guys, they get paid well, do a great job and Mick gets a cut obviously of every show. I’d do the same if I owned a famous band. So to answer your first question, in the case of this band, nobody is taking the name and running with it. It’s all authorized by Mick. Same thing with the current lineup of April Wine. Myles Goodwin owned the band (he’s just died last year) but before he died, he put the band together to go on the road, they get paid well, he got paid, now obviously his estate is getting his cut, as they should. In both of these bands, they are authorized by the owners of the bands to be out there playing.
@@steveoros6805And some people will unfortunately remember this shit version of the band forever. Sad. Hope it was worth it for Mick. Pretty soon he won't know if he's making one cent or one million. Will it matter then?
They should have changed the name to Foreigner 2.0 and here to keep this great music alive from all the original members that have come before them. Mick Jones is an ASS the way he got this all started up again. I guess it's all about the money for him.
I was on the floor as well - Row 4. This show was amazing. The headpins took me by surprise - both bands are the epitome of why we go to concerts in the first place.
Would anyone like it better if this lineup were called " The New Foreigner" or "The Music of Foreigner" ? I saw them in May as well and enjoyed them very much for keeping the music of Foreigner alive ❤❤
Eu te amooo demais como homem lindo que você e como cantor te precizo sentir o teu cheiro o teu corpo simplesmente te amo moro no Brasil vem me buscar ❤❤❤❤
Still got tickets for Charleston (John Waite, Foreigner, and Styx) in July mainly because Tommy Shaw is still the "voice" of Styx. Come on I am 66 and these guys will remind me of a time we ruled the world in the 70's, I am going to just enjoy the show. BTW Lou WALKED OFF in 2003 for last time and that ended that era, sorry.
That's right, Greg! Foreigner, Styx and John Waite (are the soundtrack) of our youth. Too bad, haters... I'm going to the show tonight in Anaheim & can't wait! 🎉
Tribute Band!
They're really good for a tribute band
Must still be sending monthly checks to Mick.
not really a tribute band, it is still the main band but there's like 2 original band members.
@@LordFarquaad89So, who on that stage is an original member. Let's see how smart you are...

No
Nope.
there's two, the bassist and the keyboard
@2v_5r84 this is the original band idiot. They just had some replacements because the other members died or retired. Get noob

Great tribute band.
Love them as is
Jeff Pilson has an astounding singing voice!!!!!
Tribute band at best !!
My Foreigner includes Lou Gramm.
There are no original members, Mick Jones dropped out of the 2024 tour. They Still sound very Good. Nice video.

I agree but still a good show!!
Lou Gramm sounds terrible these days.

Not Foreigner. Hasn’t been for many years. That is a tribute band. Not one single member from original band.
No Lou? No Mick? No Bueno.
Be happy their keeping our 80s jams going,of coarse it's not Lou but Kelly does a great job.
