It is a great trail. I will admit it kind of kicked my ass at first for some reason and I have climbed all of the sisters and broken top and stuff. Maybe it was the lack of exersize from the shut down lol ha
Nailing, screwing, or stapling anything to your tree pierces the cambium of the tree. The cambium is a very thin layer of growing tissue that produces new cells that become either xylem, phloem or more cambium. Injuring this part of the tree can disrupt water and nutrient flow between the roots and canopy.
Yes Oregon is beautiful. I came here for vacation 13 years ago and never left. I will have more videos coming soon once the lock down ended it got over crowded and that made it really hard to do the type of videos that I like to make.
Heading there in four weeks. Is the statue at the beginning of the trail heading South? I’ve been to the Cape Perpetua lookout part but wanted just to hike to the statue this time. Thanks for any information.
That drives me nuts. I want to see the view not someones face lol ha. The only time I talk is with the little guy and thats because he can not be quite lol ha
Very nicely done Sir. I live 45 minutes from Cape Perpetua so visit often, usually with visitors. Will hike Amanda's Trail next time...

The statue is south and they built a new bridge that is pretty cool
The signage at the top of trail....
SUCKS!!
Go from bottom to top.
Thanks for not yapping or sticking your face in front of nature the entire time.
