Beautiful! Two things I struggled with this lesson was first having to go back and double check the size the brush was set to at different times, and second not being able to see the petal work for the Echinacea leaves at all because they were too light on the white background. Otherwise, it was great! I'm still having a difficult time with learning how to draw leaves with pressure alone, but I'm trying! Practice, practice, practice...
Hey Joan! Thanks for watching! The sizing is totally personal preference - I provide sizes as a helpful aid, but please feel free to always change those to whatever you like best! In regards to the flowers - I apologize for the color blowout. Put simply: recording a screen with accurate color is reallllly difficult and I should have added the background color before painting them on white. Lesson learned!
So beautiful! It was impossible for me to see you when you first started painting. I’m wondering why you didn’t put the darker background on there first so it was better contrast. It finally started making sense when you added the leaves and stems though. Beautiful work! Thank you again
It is reallllly difficult to film a screen (the brighter M1 screen is even more difficult than previous models) and I obviously wish I added it sooner. By the time I was editing, it was too late - lesson learned.
Thanks Teela!! Really bringing what I have learned in your Gouache class to your Gouache tutorials!!! I think I'm getting it!! YAY!! I'm especially bonding with the Brush set, Love Them!!
I sure look forward to your tutorials. They inspire me to try to improve. And the best part is, as I go thru each tutorial I learn more and am improving even to my own surprise!
I currently only sell in packs - it would make keeping track of the different license types wayyy too difficult (for me and for buyers) if they were sold individually
Hi Teela, I really enjoy watching your videos and I am keen to take up the online lessons. However, they are quite pricey for me when I convert them to Malaysian Ringgit (RM832). Is there any thinking around adjusting the pricing to improve accessibility? Thank you so much and looking forward to your response :)
This is beautiful. But I have on question; why do the stems show through the little white puffs of flowers but not the Echinacea. Can you make it so the stems don't show? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talent.
Hey! It's because they're different brushes - one brush has a transparency through the texture in it vs. the other does not. You can erase away the stems if you'd prefer they not show!
Hey! If you hit the little gear icon in the bottom right of the youtube player, you can adjust playback speed and slow me down as much as you'd like :)

Hallo Teela, a wonderful Bouquet 💜 I have a Procreate question....you write with the pen when you rename a Layer. How does it work? I cant do this
This is an iOS 14 update on your iPad :)
@@Lowrunnn thank you
Hello Tila, I have everything up to date but it doesn’t work. Is it a setting issue perhaps?
This is a great illustration. Really awesome job here.
Thanks!
Lovely Are you considering selling the brushes individually? Or a pick and pay pack?
I currently only sell in packs - it would make keeping track of the different license types wayyy too difficult (for me and for buyers) if they were sold individually
Great tutorial!

Hey! I try to accommodate all budgets by also offering intro versions of my courses on Skillshare: every-tuesday.com/skillshare I hope that helps!
