@@tavisjones7962 I hand sew it on, using a needle & thread & the same stitching pattern as I did when I hand sewed the frontal down! Hopefully the video gave you an idea of where to place the elastic band!
what do you recommend for tinting lace ? (Foundation ,what type and colors specifically for different skin colors?) & also how do you know what cap size to use for the block ? Does 21 ,22 ,23 cap fit for any cap?
I have watched this video 12 times (I’m a visual learner don’t judge me 🤪) but no seriously thank you for doing this video I have made $3800 off my wigs since I started following you and I just wanted to say thanks for giving me free game I wish you and yours millions
This morning I wasted a couple hours looking for a wig on Amazon, all the while knowing I have a box full of frontals and bundles already paid for. Your tutorial was the second I watched for a sewing machine crafted lace wig and I think my search is over. As a seasoned seamstress (for garments) you pretty much covered everything and have inspired me to use what I have instead of spending another dime on something I don't need. 🤣 Fabulous tutorial. I'm going to check out your tutorial for a closure next. Good work darling!
I wouldn’t say god I would say your government with tech that pulls up things you think of as well as speak of .. look it up 😂 you truly have less privacy than you think 😭
The first video I came across to say “the longest bundle goes to the bottom of the cap” I know it’s such a beginner’s question but it’s SO HELPFUL. Best tutorial
I’ve watched several videos on making a wig using a sewing machine and this is the only video I’ve seen that’s given me the confidence to try it. I know how to use a sewing machine, but I’m gonna use some cheap beauty supply store hair first just in case I mess it up
These videos are fire! I sewed my bundles last night with your tips now just need to prep the cap and sew. I've hand sewn several wigs, but I just do not have the time right now.
Those courses normally last hours and are very detailed. While this video is great, you will still have to learn through trial and error. And learn your own tips/tricks. You will spend many hours and lots of time probably double or triple what you would’ve if you paid someone to teach you in detail their techniques! However, as far as I’m concerned, I’d rather do that than pay someone $300-$500.
Perfect video! Fast, steady paced(but not too fast), clear, informative and straight to the point. It's amazing how many people don't get this when making their videos. THANK YOU!
I just want to say thanks for this because I been wanting to make my own wigs and maybe in the future as I get better start making for my future clients as I’m taking my cosmetology course and I will be done in march if God permits. Your information was so clear and detail and most of all very informative thanks a lot I will subscribe to your channel as soon as I get in my iPad drench I can’t sun trough out my phone again thanks
I’ve been searching where to get the best beginner friendly and thank God for you! So clearly spoken and detailed, and i especially love the DOS AND DONT ❤️
I’m new to wigging and I have an online class that I’ve been watching but came to watch it here again and I love love it/ Thank you so much and please wish me good luck as I start my practice in the morning 😁
This video was so helpful! I’ve been making wigs on the sewing machine for a couple months and it’s literally a hit or a miss but this video cleared up the gaps for me so thank you !
THANK YOU!!! This was so helpful! I’ve been struggling with my lil raggedy fingers sewing my wigs by hand! This here done saved my life! Thank you so much 🥰
Thank you! Very detailed video 😊 I tried finding a video that was detailed like this one, but the other videos skipped steps that ppl like myself need.
New subscriber here. Thanks for this video. I’m a visual learner on the Autism Spectrum who loves making wigs but needed inspiration to try it another way. I used to hand sew my cosplay wigs in my early 20s and I wish I had this video back then. Lol. Much love and success
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO. I have a hair company and am now considering switching to machine sewn wigs over hand sewing them. This was so easy to follow and simple.
Lovely and very informative video. Thank you. Been wondering though..why can’t you sew a frontal or closure with a machine. All of the videos I have seen always show people hand sewing closures or frontals. Is there a reason for this? Just wondering
Thank you so much for this information girl idk I really feel like I should be paying you for this because it was just so perfect and informative not overdrawn and nothing you said went over my head just thank you so so much ❤❤
Girl thank you for this 🙏🏾 I use to make my own clubbing outfits so I know constructing my own wig would be a breeze. Now I need a sewing machine!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🤩
Your video and you explaining is superb 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 thank you for this tutorial! It was very much needed, bc of you I will not second guess whether or not I should or shouldn’t purchase the Singer sewing machine 😌
Excellent video - when do you afix the elastic band to the wig? I'm thinking after sewing so it does not catch when attaching the bundles but just want to be certain before I try this out.
Absolutely love this video 😍. I am a bit confused on the measurements you made in the beginning. So die you measure the canvas head length and pulled the wig cap down one inch more?
Hi Lex Thanks for this wonderful tutorial Am so excited to try . Most especially you are a great teacher. Please can you teach us how you put the elastic band please. Thanks await your response Thanks and stay bless
I'm a seamstress with 55 years experience, I'm very impressed with your tutorial. I love the way you stress to take your time, especially not to pull the cap. I'll be using your method when I make my wig. Again great tutorial.
For beginners is there a specific sewing machine that we should start with or is any ok? Should we start on the cheaper side of sewing machines at first? I’m excited to start but don’t know where to start at the same time lol.. love the videos 💗💗💗
I love this detailed video. I’m working on mine now and I’ve noticed that the hair I received looks double wefted. Do I still need to double it and also if not would that be an issue when it’s time to sew the single weft at the top so it won’t be bulky?
Thank you for such an informative video!!!! I have one question! 3min into the video you explain using a measuring tape to ensure that measurements match. I noticed you didn’t cut off any excess or sew the excess to ensure the measurement didn’t shift once you took it off the wig head. Is the idea that once you’ve drawn out your lines, it’ll account for the measurement from the front to back of the head?
It my first time watching, but I can say that you are amazing at what you do. It’s well detailed. I learned a lot from me. I have even subscribed to your channel. I’m using my husband’s phone though 😊. Great lessons ❤👏👏👏👏
I hope you're loving the consistency just as much as I am!
Leave any questions you have down below & I'll be happy to answer!
