thank you - very useful tip for making a segment between two nodes curve with Pen and Alt - I was struggling getting this kind of segment shape as I'm new to Illustrator migrated from Corel Draw - where you can simply transform an straight line to a curve one with one click....
@@GDHT true - but still basics are the same with different names - I personally like more the simplicity of the tools and information display in Corel Draw - but you have more creativity tools in Illustrator, even the menu/tools and commands are kind of outdated and require a lot of clicking and switching between... thanks again for making my learning easier :)
Thank you for the tutorial. I’ve been using the first method to make hearts but was never happy with the results. Would you consider making a tutorial on how to make a fancier “open” heart? I want to design a heart with an opening towards the bottom where I can place a paw print (I already make paw prints).
I'm not sure what you mean by 'open' heart - maybe a loop at the bottom? If you want to add pics and get help, we have a free Facebook group - you can find it here: facebook.com/groups/adobeillustratorusershelp

^^ I like this comment for this video! Heehee!
hi, do you know the "Unilever" logo? it's a logo filled with icons. can you please make a tutorial to do that? thank you!
That one is a matter of manually placing and rotating the icons to match the U shape...there's really no 'trick' to it, unfortunately.
@@GDHTso i don't need to use envelope distort, etc?
@@yurizafurizaki5574 right. They most likely took the U and just filled it in with icons by hand
@@GDHT Thank you!
You're welcome!!
I always use the 1st way because it's quickly 😂😂🥰🥰
