I had the Honda CR 480 new raced in 1983-86. I rode this RM500 perfect bike. I traded for a Kx 500 1987 but it was to violent not smooth like RM or CR. Nice channel. Awesome you restored bikes from my era. 👍
Canadian Champion Ross Roller Ball Pederson use to make those RM500's fly! He even placed in the top 5 at several world GP mXraces back in the day racing against those riding works bikes on his slightly modified RM500
O had a 83 RM 500, literally bought the bike ripped apart in boxes and milk crates. Rider restored the whole bike. Painted the frame to match the Suzuki blue seat cover

My best friend raced that same bike In 83 and 84. He was one of the fastest open class riders I've ever seen. Awesome bike!
