Well, check out this video. This is a few months back when I completely straight piped the car with a catless H-Pipe. The LOUDEST EXHAUST Setup I’ve Ever Done | Straight Piped 2014 Mustang 5.0 th-cam.com/video/PbB4LzvHE5M/w-d-xo.html That vid demonstrates what it sounds like with mufflers and without mufflers. I can say though, daily driving completely straight piped 5.0 with H-pipe will sound good, but over time the drone it’s too loud for a convo in the car and my drives are far so it gave me a headache.
We need to link up and drive some time homie I seen you today at Independence Groove but didn’t want to bother but let keep in touch homie , All love bro❤️💪
The previous mustang I had got totaled out, I wasn’t able to take the kooks headers off of there. I took an L on that. Months later I bought this mustang, same color and had to search for a good deal on LTheaders. These ARH was best deal. I didn’t buy brand new. Although these are new. I bought these from Facebook Marketplace.
For the deepest muscle car tone, having an H-pipe on the car will serve you that. Now depending on your budget, you can chop almost everything off and achieve that sound for id say welders would charge $120-$600 depending on how much piping they’d replace. Or you can make it sound uniquely badass with a boost in hp with a good set of 1-7/8ths LTH. That will cost 2-4x more. But that’s often the point of my exhaust vids for a viewers decision.
@@Tdurrgtwas that set up any good? I guess what I'm really trying to get at is which set up you've had or have done sounded the best? Like did the long tubes create a lot of rasp? Did going off-road with just a midpipes with no cats sound better than long tubes? I know it's a lot of questions lol, hopefully you don't mind. Just want to get a better feel of what I want to do before I commit to spending so much money
"What did the Kool-Aid Man Say" hahah. The setup sounds sick, quieting an exhaust down always works wonders with livability
Sounds badass bro!! Makes me want to get headers now
clean asf sounding nasty asf gawdd damn, glad u back inna s197, makes me miss my 2013 fbo.
Gonna make you buy another 1
Love the new setup 🔥🔥 saludos desde Sonora 🇲🇽
Gracias mi amigo🔥
cats def made it sound different. great video!
Yeah, these hi-flo cats makes all the difference fs!
Have you ever thought about getting some mufflers welded in like Borla, Corsa, or Kooks because they make mufflers now!?
Nah. The tone I have now is perfect for me. Don’t have to spend more money, less weight on the car.
@@Tdurrgt Those mufflers aren’t that heavy!😂
It still reduces weight and I like the tone of the car how it is.
I was thinking about getting a catless h pipe for my 2011 not looking for any rasp

Why the switch from kooks to ARH?

@@Tdurrgt I do not have ig man

Hey man, just subsrcibed to the channel. Do you prefer headers with cats over the offroad sound? Which gives the best deep loud muscle car sound?

@@Tdurrgt ok thanks man. Did you ever just try going with just offroad h pipe build?
This car just had that setup. I took it off. I like X-pipe better.
