Really funny how we get so used to reading sections at high speed playing all these crazy workshop songs, but the stuff that makes us miss or hit with terrible accuracy is all the slow stuff. He nailed that super fast 185bpm section first try and struggles super hard with the slow sorta tricky stuff.
It's something I really noticed now that the game has a no-fail option. All those insane super fast workshop songs that are rated super hard that I thought I would NEVER be able to play I find myself playing really well when no-fail lets me continue playing through the song. I'm hitting so much more with perfect accuracy than I thought and don't have the frustration of replaying the same section over and over and over and over. I rekindled my love for this game after the no-fail update.

Just wanted to say that I started playing ADOFAI purely because of your videos, then I realized even more how much of a god you are at this game, I can’t even beat world 11 and I’ve been trying on and off for a few days at work
already completed the whole dlc myself and it was hard but a lot of fun as well and so cheap for that great content. but its insane how you can first or second try everything i needed 10 tries for xDD

I've noticed that you and Bwen use a slightly offset key configuration (your middle fingers are higher up on the keyboard. Is there a specific reason for this? I played Stepmania for 15 years and always used keys from the same row of the keyboard.

Hey, 18 year Stepmania player myself. I played index though, so never built spread habits. Guitar Hero was my main game from 2005 when GH1 came out. I was always better at ascending patterns. So, I play ADOFAI with ascending patterns between my index and middle fingers. I played saxophone too, so I'm a bit better with vertical orientations. In short, my hands function nominally in this key configuration.

Hey gamma, why don't you try these with perfect only mode on?
Perfect only can be found in the settings, and makes it so you can only hit perfects and E/Lperfects. This will make for a much more difficult challenge.
