This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job!
Hey! Love your videos. Thanks 🙏. I'm trying to find out if S Catherina is still possible to visit (Lago Maggiore). I went there some years ago - some days they wouldn't disembark due to the water level or movement. It was fun, if a bit scare. Hope to visit again soon. Thanks again
Grazie Giovanna! O Martina? I'm really glad you liked the video! We just hope in getting more visibility. Merano was barely noticed.. But thanks for your support! 😍 Orlando @wishcasting
South Tyrol is Italy. Politically and geographically. From a cultural point of view, the German-speaking inhabitants are children of medieval invaders, the native language of the place is Ladino, an Italic language. Those who feel Austrian can cross the Alps and go back to where they came from.
I just went around with a local, he showed me around and I filmed for pleasure. Turned this into a video. I had no expectations, and no budget, no intention to monetize :) I'm not surprised if it's not one of the best videos out there.
I’m sorry but if I go visit I’m going to speak Italian because its in ITALY, it’s just being ignorant if the people pretend they don’t understand or speak Italian when they clearly have Italian passports and they live in the country of Italy. So why not just respect the country they are living in its simple if you live in Italy you are Italian.
WishCasting I get the fact it’s the German speaking part of Italy, I’ve lived in the UK for a very long time and they seem to do it right. Look at Scotland and Wales even Northern Ireland they all have their own languages they can speak but you don’t see them purposely not learning English to annoy the English people. No they all speak English and still keep to traditions because they live in Great Britain where English has to be spoken for work and medical care but if I go to a place in ITALY where I know I’ll be treated with a certain distaste because I’m not speaking German even tho they all carry Italian passports and I’m standing in Italy then is it wrong for me to feel uncomfortable knowing if I probably spoke English the natives of South Tyrol would probably like me more than if I spoke Italian because I’m going to Italy.
And they study a lot Italian at school, so they know the language very well. But in the last 20 years the situation is diverse and i think best, there isn't this clime of hate anymore. However in Merano the people ethnically italian are the 49%, german 51%. So there isn't a big difference.
@@WishCasting also, it's different if you are bad in languages. Yes, you live in Italy, but it's half Italian, half German - and even tho you learn Italian in school not everyone knows it perfect. I mean, not every Italian person can German either and they have it in school too.
Can't wait for get there. Thanks

Südtirol ist nicht Italien.
According to 2021 maps, it is right?
@@WishCasting it is a part of Italy, some people just try to be cool lmao
Cortina 🇮🇹.
The view had been amazing would they had pizza store
They have so many pizzerias! But it's north italy, I'd recommend eating traditional food instead :)

South Tyrol is NOT Italy!
MERANO IS ITALY

As an Austrian , I can say it’s not Austria, it is Italian and it was stolen by us
Merano si trova in altezza di 325 m s.l.m.!!! Hai aggiunto 3000 metri!!! 🙈🙈🙈
Andiamo bene... :D
we
did
no Journey
Very poor. Purpose seems to be self-satisfaction. Important view points are missing: Passer Promenade, Kurhaus, Arcades etc

Of course! What language did they speak? Did they refuse to speak Italian?

I'm not sorry if I speak my mother language and that is not Italian!! South Tyrol was part of Austria for longer than it is of Italy, grow up.

This is a tour of YOUR FACE, which gets about 50 per cent screen time. WTH about Meran/Merano? Get yo face out the damn video.
I'll definitely think about re-doing the whole video without my face in it 👍
