I am deeply grateful are that God blessed me with a true Guru who teaches true knowledge of the scriptures which will take me to God someday. I am just as grateful to associate with like-minded people who reinforce my beliefs. Thank you, Swamiji.
Such a fantastic points on Surrender. Loved the gratitude which is most important to see the blessings in our life. Loved the example of poet and the toy seller which opened my eyes. We have food to eat, eyes to see, legs to walk and house to live, so many things to feel gratitude for. The example given of house wife who brought food to swamiji, could not explain how the potatoes and cauliflower made?. Even scientists also fail in making these items in lab. Need to cultivate the attitude of gratitude in our life to have so much in our life. 5th point explained by Swamiji, to feel everything which belongs to God and not to us. We are just caretaker for this life. Loved the story of Alexander the Great, how he finally realized when he was about to die, that nothing can go with him. Also the two incidents where God will laugh explained by Saint Ramakrishna Paramahamsa were beautiful. Really amazing gems of wisdom to contemplate upon
Yes, 2 incidents when God smiles: 1- Doctor saying that they will heal the person, 2- dividing properties like land and saying it's mine. EVERYTHING is God's!
A very practical lecture today with 2 very important lessons. Cultivate and attitude of gratitude. And nothing in the world belongs to you. When we leave the world we can take nothing with us.
We have to very thankful to God for what the gifts we received! (Attitude to Gratitude:4th point of Surrender). Grace! Kabir ji's doha was awesome for it. 5th point of Surrender: To see 👀everything as God's and nothing belongs to me. Alexander the Great life story inspires very much for it. Thank you very much Swamiji.... Today's two points are awesome and Life changing tool.
Swamiji mentioned 5th aspect surrender,it struck my heart. .Beautiful......short n impactful. Just we have to focus on it "Nothing in this material world belongs to us.Cultivation of awareness that all belongs to God."
We get so involved in the in the illusion of beauty of this materialistic world that we tend to forget the beautiful world God has given us - the sun, beautiful flowers, birds and other limitless things of this world .
Living with awareness and appreciating little things around us, teaching this to the children, is so critical for creating a generation of amazing citizens with an Attitude of Gratitude!
We always get enamored by the fine things in life and subsequently entangled in maya, but the true beauty lies in God's natural creations and the ability of 84 lakh species to coexist, among other things.
Realizing that Everything belongs to God and being grateful to Him for those things and His Grace upon us that we can enjoy those things without any limitations or levies is the greatest truth that we should realize in today's lesson. With Swamiji's teachings, we can surrender to Him completely.
Swamiji so beautifully describes that the fourth condition for surrender is we should realize that everything we have is due to the grace of God. The elements of nature, our families, the human form and so much more. We need to fill our hearts with gratitude which will help to purify our hearts. Thank you, Swamiji.
Thank you Swamiji for the 4th and 5th aspects of surrender: We must always be grateful that we have received so much from GOD. Nothing belongs to us, every thing we have actually belongs to GOD.
Radhey Radhey Swami ji🙏🙏🙏🙏 Thank you Swami ji for telling us fifth aspect of surrender.Nothing belongs to us in this world .If we identify ourselves with soul .It is also tiny fragment of God’s energy.so we should do complete surrender and give up the sense of proprietorship.
I am speechless listening to Swamiji. It's very true,Aware of the gifts we received from God n feel gratitude to Him. Without His grace we cannot do anything. This is 4th aspect of Surrender.
"Nothing belongs to us, it will all be left behind" have heard that million times - but never really contemplated upon this fact. This fact alone, if we really imbibe - life would turn around for good. Thanks so much!
So true! Daily prayer in the morning, night, at the meal times, moment to moment awareness practice of Gratitude especially in the difficult times and testing times, and in the moments of greed & anger, we must strive harder to remember and practice gratitude!
Swamiji so beautifully says that gratitude makes us feel humble and humility is essential for spiritual growth. All that we have is a gift of God; the food we eat, the air we breathe, and even the intellect we have received. Thank you, Swamiji.
Gratitude means to become perceptive of the gifts that we have received in life. Let us not take for granted the air we breathe, the earth we walk upon, our working limbs, and the food available to us. A beautiful message on day 14!
Wonderful lecture and truely life transforming. We always take granted what God has given us and not realise the value of it. We need to remember always these 2 Life Lessons of Surrender that Swamiji explained in the Day #14 of the MMC. First to feel Gratitude that we have received gifts is the grace of God upon us and Second one is all we have posses is belongs to God , nothing belongs to us . Feelings so blessed today . I thanks to God that what he has given me in my life. Thank you Swamiji for this enlightening lecture.
Absolutely agree. Not only does it enhance and enrich our lives with the wisdom and teachings of Swamiji, it gives us the association of likeminded people engaged to become better versions of themselves.
So very grateful and blessed to be part of JK Yog and to hear the priceless gems of wisdom from Swamiji who teaches us everyday all the life lessons in our spiritual journey to reach Almighty. Swamiji taught us very important lessons today in this amazing video.Truly recommend everyone to revisit again and again.
So true. We have the ability to think and act - which other species do not (they only perform basic functions). We have been given privileges, and we must utilize them properly.
This is how we must think: 'Everything belongs to Him'. I am just fulfilling my duty by taking care of XYZ. If we utilize this attitude in everything we do, from our household chores to school/career to raising children, the outcomes will probably be more positive.
True. We know that water is nothing but H2O. But Science cannot create water by adding 2 parts of hydrogen and 1 part of oxygen. This should humble science.
My heartiest thanks to Swamiji and jkyog team who bring us these packets of such enlighting knowledge every week, these are definitely making impact in the way we are perceiveing things in life
Attitude of Gratitude 🙏 is very important . Always be thankful of all the graces and gifts 🎁 that we have received which is the 4th point of surrender . Also 5 th point of surrender is to think that nothing is mine as all is of God ‘s . We are just the care taker of all the things given by God . Thanks 🙏 Shri Swamiji for the motivation. 👍👌👏🙏
1. Grateful of knowledge shared by teacher like Swamiji that helps so many people at once. 2. Grateful for satsang like this Mind Management Challenge. 3. Grateful for presence of God in our lives
Beautiful 2 lessons on always be grateful for all that we have and also give up the sense of proprietorship! Day 14 MMC on steps to perfect our surrender to the supreme divine personality.
The fifth point of surrender is to acknowledge that nothing belongs to us - it is all God's. Swamiji gives a wonderful example of Alexander the Great who could not take anything with him regardless of his prowess.
We always show our disatisfaction and being unhappy about the things we want to achieve that we do not. But we forget what God has given- the sunlight, the air,the food and all that we deserve.we should ponder off and on to show an attitude of gratitude that how much God cares us.Thanku so much swamiji for the valuable video.🙏
So true, no big deal to start complaining and lamenting! We must make an effort to count our blessings, especially during tough & testing times! Difficult to do but can be done! Jai Ho!

Great next 2 points of Surrender covered today by Swamiji - Fourth point is Attitude of Gratitude and fifth point is Nothing is mine, everything belongs to God!
We all say, "Nothing is mine. Everything is his." But merely saying it isnt enough, we need to believe it from within. 🌸 There are about 1 billion galaxies in the universe. So vast is God's universe and creation. The whole world emanated from God and is sustained by him. He is the proprietor of everything that exists in this creation. 🙏🏻🌸
There are about 100 billion galaxies in the universe (100 billion universes in the multiverse) & each galaxy (universe) has, on an average, 100 billion stars. So vast is Lord's universe (multiverse) & creation. The whole universe (multiverse) emanated from him & sustained by him. He is the proprietor of everything that exists in the creation. 🙏🌷
One blessing for I am grateful for in life is HAVING HUMAN BIRTH.. I am So grateful for God for giving me an opportunity to serve for his Grace & Devine love in this human form.
We are only a traveller in this transit world.Daily worship The Loving and Caring God and thanks The Lord for all His Graces.Be kind patience and always try to help each other.Bless You
We take it for granted so many things that God has so graciously bestowed on us and instead of being thankful, we tend to complain on all the things we do not have. This takes us backwards towards surrender to God. Today's lesson really makes us realize this fact from the great story of the toy seller man with only 2 limbs but was so happy & grateful to what God had given him. This genuinely is an attitude of gratitude.
Yes, actually you are so right, it will take reduce the extra effort to remember to count our blessings since we already would be established in that knowledge all the time!
Beautiful example Swamiji gives about the sabji. True man with all his inventive genius, creativity and imagination has not created a machine that we put clay on one side and the vegetable of our choice comes out of the other side! Yet we take for granted God is providing us with that everyday.
I am alive and feeling myself extremely blessed for receiving so much of divine knowledge daily through the video lectures of dear Swamiji - Gratitude means to become perceptive of the gifts that we have received in our life. We all are receiving so many graces from the universe - the earth we walk upon, the air we breathe, the sunlight that fall on our skin creating Vitamin D - all of these are gifts. But the problem is what we have received, we tend to take it for granted, we don’t realize their value. नथनी दीनि यार ने, तो चिन्तन बारम्बार | नाक दीनि करतार ने, ताको दियो विसार || - Our worldly beloved has given us a nose-ring, we are remembering him so often. But the nose is given by the Lord and we are not thanking Him once in a while.🙏🙏🙏
We came empty handed and we will go empty handed. Everything we own is a gift from God and we need to give up this ownership attachment to move further in our Divine surrender
everything that we have received in this universe ,all are provided by the supreme god . it is so important we should never forget it and thanks to the supreme god for his gift that we have received by the god that feel us gratitude .thanks swami ji for the sharing the blessing of the god .
This was such an impactful point in the MMC today, that only God has the technology to create fodder from mud! The very basic ingredient for our survival and everything pretty much is provided by God! Our Pride is so hollow and pointless!
Yes it is similar to other story where one cobbler says "my Lord can fit a huge banyan tree in a small seed, what can he not do?" Only God create anything from nothing.
Exactly, with all the ingenuity, creativity, incentive and imagination, humans have yet to come up with a machine that you can put clay on one end and on the other comes out the vegetable of your choice. Yet God gives that to us everyday. We should remember to be grateful for that gift from God.
Living with awareness and appreciating nature & little things around us, teaching this to the children, is so critical for creating a generation of amazing citizens with an Attitude of Gratitude!
Everything around us is the grace of the Almighty. We should realise this and develop the attitude of gratitude towards Him. 🙏 Thanks for this reminder.
Yes. We take it for granted that the Sun will raise every day but this is not in our control. For fear of God, the Sun is raising. Likewise everything is following God's will. For this we have to be truly grateful.
I thank God for everything he gave me in this world. When we die we don't take anything with us,the only thing we take is the Good and Bad Deeds we perform. Thank you God.Thank you Swamiji for enlightening us. Radhey Radhey 🙏💙
Two points as follows: 1) To express the gratitude for God by whom we possess everything 2) All, we see with meaty eyes and what we can not see with these same meaty eyes, belongs to supreme.
Feeling Gratitude towards God for giving me human Birth and the Intellect so that I can surrender and connect my mind with God in order to reach my final goal. Thanks to Shree Maharaj Ji and Swami Ji for explaining us our Scriptures in a simplified manner. We cannot take anything with us when we die only our Karmas goes us. 🙏❤️❤️👏🌺🌹💕
Counting our blessing on a regular basis, especially and at the least before sleeping, after waking up during meal times is so very required to make this Attitude of Gratitude!
This is a great point Niharikaji! If we instill gratitude in ourselves for the big and small gifts of God, we will gradually decrease our attachment to people, material objects, achievements, etc.
Big inspiration!!! You always been a virtual mentor for many people like me; your book " 7 secrets success, happiness and fulfillment" is a really tremendous book I have read ever💜💙💚❤
The fifth condition of surrender is to give up the sense of proprietorship. We need to acknowledge that everything we have belongs to God. We came empty-handed in this world and we will leave empty-handed. To think that we own anything is a false belief. Thank you, Swamiji.
Example of Alexander is an eye opener. a)Great people do not say themselves Great.b) no one can conquer the world. c) his hands were left open out side the coffin to let this understand the world. Nothing belongs to you. We all come empty handed will go the same way
Point a reminds me of the half-empty kettle which makes noise and the full kettle which does not. Similarly, we must be humble and offer our efforts in the service of God.
I am so blessed to listen to Swamiji. The fourth and fifth point of sharanagati was discussed by Swamiji so nicely. We have nothing ,everything is His grace and blessing. So we always be grateful to Him. Thanks Swamiji.
Nothing belongs to me, not even my body, mind. Everything belongs to God. This is the fact. But we feel we own property, we have talents etc. We should feel we are trustees of all that is bestowed by God in our care and utilize the same in His service.
Very Inspiring. We need to develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step towards achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.
We are still like a toddler - whatever comes in the sight - we want to possess it. We have to re-program our mind and free ourselves from self-inflicted miseries.
Great analogy Vrindaji. We may grow in age, but we are still like children in front of God; we want the 'shiny new toys' whether those toys are more money, fame, tangible goods, etc.

Swamiji delves into the fourth and fifth points of surrender to God. Looking forward to the last point on day 15!
We are all looking forward to it.

The story of Alexander is so compelling! He had conquered the world, earned wealth but still died so young! Nothing is in our hands!
Yes one day we will leave it all anyway
Very True, nothing is in our hands.
And we don't' take anything with us! Dust to dust.
The affix "great" applies only to God , no matter what what we claim to be!
An illusion of wealth, invincibility, and power. We must surrender to the one and only, so we can properly utilize our time in this birth.

That is why we complain more. Being grateful for what we do have takes a lot of humility to admit.
instead we should focus on and appreciate what we have. The glass can be seen as half empty or half full. It is our choice how we look at it.
Interesting....yes....we have to make an active effort to feel gratitude.

Yes that is a sign of ignorance, we are parts of the divine and what ever we have is given by our supreme lord
yes, the material world gets us!
that's what keeps God hidden from us!
That just promotes our ego & prevents us from realizing the Divine.
Thank you Swamiji Thank you for all , Hare Krishna 💐💐💐
We should be eternally grateful for everything we have in life as wish of the almighty!!
Yes, Make God's will as our will.
Yup, be grateful for everything- ups and downs in our lives.
True. And this gratitude is better expressed by utilizing the gifts of God in the way it is intended to be used.
Agree, being grateful for everything we had, have & will have is God's Blessing.
Yes, we need to accept ever thing in life as God's prasad...
Wow what a wonderful pearls of wisdom.thank u swamiji.
We all say, "Nothing is mine. Everything is his." But merely saying it isnt enough, we need to believe it from within. 🌸
There are about 1 billion galaxies in the universe. So vast is God's universe and creation. The whole world emanated from God and is sustained by him. He is the proprietor of everything that exists in this creation. 🙏🏻🌸
Great
So true! We forget in the rush of the moment! This requires constant reinforcement, moment to moment!
True
There are about 100 billion galaxies in the universe (100 billion universes in the multiverse) & each galaxy (universe) has, on an average, 100 billion stars. So vast is Lord's universe (multiverse) & creation. The whole universe (multiverse) emanated from him & sustained by him. He is the proprietor of everything that exists in the creation. 🙏🌷
Very well said
Very true... we must cultivate the attitude of gratitude. Please accept humble gratitude Pujya Swamiji
One blessing for I am grateful for in life is HAVING HUMAN BIRTH.. I am So grateful for God for giving me an opportunity to serve for his Grace & Devine love in this human form.
Yes! This is a wonderful point. Out of 84 lakh species, we were given this one at this point in time - we must utilize it properly.
Again a new gem of swami ji...for our development of life....
I am also eagerly waiting for the lecture on Mind Management Challenge day 14 lecture by Swamiji.
Me too!
Attitude of gratitude!
Swamiji says that we must remember the gifts we have received from God to develop an attitude of gratitude. Thank you, Swamiji.
Yes, important
We remember the gifts in humility as there are so many gifts He continues to bestow on us with His Grace.
You wrote it beautifully! The toymaker was so genuinely happy seeing others joyful, he didn't have to think about his limbs.
I think once we see everything belonging to God we will also naturally be grateful for everything we have. The two seem to go hand in hand.
Yes, actually you are so right, it will take reduce the extra effort to remember to count our blessings since we already would be established in that knowledge all the time!
Well-put! We must actively think this to train ourselves for gratitude.
Beautiful example Swamiji gives about the sabji. True man with all his inventive genius, creativity and imagination has not created a machine that we put clay on one side and the vegetable of our choice comes out of the other side! Yet we take for granted God is providing us with that everyday.
WE ALL R SO BLESSED
Everything we own is a gift from God and we need to give up this ownership attachment to move further in our Divine surrender
so well said.
Ultimate truth
Well-said Bharatiji. We must actively remember that 'we came empty handed and we will go empty handed'.
Loved the Kabir ji' s doha! It puts the things in perspective on our misplaced gratitude so often in life!!
If we become aware of the gifts that we receive from God,it will create an attitude of gratitude.
everything that we have received in this universe ,all are provided by the supreme god . it is so important we should never forget it and thanks to the supreme god for his gift that we have received by the god that feel us gratitude .thanks swami ji for the sharing the blessing of the god .
Yes, only God has the technology to create food from mud. Great Example.
I am inspired by the 6 points of surrender
Everything around us is the grace of the Almighty. We should realise this and develop the attitude of gratitude towards Him. 🙏 Thanks for this reminder.
We take the gifts of God as granted. Only when we realize when it is being snatched.
Mm... something to ponder over...
Right, we pollute the air, water & fields that we have been given. NO respect for God and mother earth.
Yes. We take it for granted that the Sun will raise every day but this is not in our control. For fear of God, the Sun is raising. Likewise everything is following God's will. For this we have to be truly grateful.
It is sad that we realize the value of something only when it it snatched away from us and not while we have it & enjoy it.
Yes, we take most of the things in life for granted. We need to practice the attitude of gratitude..
I thank God for everything he gave me in this world. When we die we don't take anything with us,the only thing we take is the Good and Bad Deeds we perform. Thank you God.Thank you Swamiji for enlightening us. Radhey Radhey 🙏💙
That is where we have to concentrate so that we can carry on our good karmas.
We are being graded on our intentions every moment, so we must strive to think and do good at all times.
Two points as follows: 1) To express the gratitude for God by whom we possess everything 2) All, we see with meaty eyes and what we can not see with these same meaty eyes, belongs to supreme.
Well said Alamandaji.
Very insightful points by Swamiji #iFeelGratitude
Even Alexander the Great could not take anything with him to his grave after having conquered the world. Thank you, Swamiji.
The Great Sanātana Dharmi king Porus (Puru) defeated Alexander in 326 BCE & after Alexander's defeat Alexander 'the ordinary' marched back in 325 BCE.
true
We must keep this in mind. But alas! we seem to endlessly get entangled in maya...
We are simply the "caretakers" ,look forward to the 6th point of surrender!! Loved the lecture today!!
Thought provoking, the things we take for granted are actually the graces we have received including air, water, food, sunlight, able body and what not...
Even with God, we behave in an entitled manner! Great point.
Well said Meenuji. Our marksheet is the only thing that goes up.
We don't realize the value of something or someone or a blessing until we are deprived of it. (We desire what we are deprived of)
Counting our blessing on a regular basis, especially and at the least before sleeping, after waking up during meal times is so very required to make this Attitude of Gratitude!
True
It is so unfortunate that one does not realize the value of something until one is deprived of it.
This is a great point Niharikaji! If we instill gratitude in ourselves for the big and small gifts of God, we will gradually decrease our attachment to people, material objects, achievements, etc.
Attitude of Gratitude. An amazing story of toyseller. So emotional.
Very inspiring words by Swamiji. We have come here with empty hand and go back with empty hand. Only the result of our life long deed will go with us.
Looking forward to day 14 of the Mind Management Challenge! Swamiji is going to explain 2 life lessons to remember every morning.
Big inspiration!!! You always been a virtual mentor for many people like me; your book " 7 secrets success, happiness and fulfillment" is a really tremendous book I have read ever💜💙💚❤
Day-14, We all are receiving so many graces, we need to realise it with an attitude of gratitude. 🙏
Beautifully explained by Swamiji about Mind MANAGEMENT Challenge Programme of day 14..Thank You Swamiji 🙏
The fifth condition of surrender is to give up the sense of proprietorship. We need to acknowledge that everything we have belongs to God. We came empty-handed in this world and we will leave empty-handed. To think that we own anything is a false belief. Thank you, Swamiji.
Yes, it's a truth. Nothing belongs to us. Loved the video today.
Me too loved the point how we need to think everything belongs to God but not to us. This is true but need to realize it and implement it in our life.
Wonderful wisdom
Dust to dust!
Alexander example in this regard was so nice
Example of Alexander is an eye opener. a)Great people do not say themselves Great.b) no one can conquer the world. c) his hands were left open out side the coffin to let this understand the world. Nothing belongs to you. We all come empty handed will go the same way
Agree. We arrived with nothing & depart with nothing as nothing belongs to us.
Yes, really an eye opener. We all came to his world empty handed and not going to take anything with us when we leave the world...
Very true!
Whatever we have is by the Grace of our Hari Guru!
In illusion, we forget everything, all the knowledge !
Wonderful
You have put it very beautifully
Very lucky to watch this in the early morning! This made my day .. Dhanyawad guruji. You are the best. 🙏❤️
Everything including the physical body, mind, intellect and consciousness are not created by me, it's given. Let's feel gratitude towards the giver !
We never think like that. Just sucked into the desires of the mind forgetting who we really are.
Yes, the main thing, the consciousness is not created by me.
yes, everything we have had & will have are given by God.
True, we have not created anything in this world nor do we carry anything with us when we leave....
So true! We take everything for granted till we're deprived of something and then we question!
Wow! Very good point, minimalistic living is a great way and so many people are successfully able to adopt this lifestyle!
Great analogy Vrindaji. We may grow in age, but we are still like children in front of God; we want the 'shiny new toys' whether those toys are more money, fame, tangible goods, etc.
Beautiful explanation Swamiji 🙏🏼
We don’t take anything with us
We come empty handed and go empty handed too
Always keep in mind we are just a caretaker of all things even the house were we live.
yes in the literal sense!
Yes, we must not have pride.
