2022 - Way to make the sport bigger by showing it to no one.
*As a fan, I realize we are seeing a new elite line up taking over these sports but the guys aren't really active on social media to draw attention and new fans.* Tom has a decent presence, but not the strong presence like others who are now heading into retirement.
*I didn't expect to see Tom rise in the sport so quickly, but he sure as hell did!*
Same with Martins and his win, but Martins has a really strong social media presence.
*It would be great to see these guys come up with something to market themselves they feel confident doing and grow the sport's audience.*

Thanks for uploading months after we already know who wins. I love watching competitions when I already know what happens. Can’t let it get too exiting, right? Haha, ok I’ll just go watch last year’s World Series.
I understand they made the log lighter from 160 kg/350 lbs to 145 kg/320 lbs to avoid having guys zero the event..... but those guys ended up zeroing the event anyways.
This is World's Strongest Man, keep the weights heavy enough that none of the guys could do more than 15 reps even if given 2 minutes. 160 kg/350 lbs was a perfect weight in my opinion.
If possible still zeroed it shows it’s still heavish, for the heats should be 330-350 if the finals 350-380 also no one doing 15 reps lol
Dont forget the heat that day (above 40°C) cardio log looks like hell.

Poor Angulo. Couldn’t get going and came in last in every single event. I’ve only ever seen that happen once or twice in WSM history.

Man this group was really lackluster besides Tom. 2023 had quite a bit better balanced groups!

That 8th rep from Faires was silly. The time should be like basketball if the ball is in the air when the time is up the point counts. Faires was in the middle of his lift when the clock stopped, just give him the rep. Classic WSM stupidity.
Time is time, man. Nothing more that your own stupidity there. Referee says DOWN when everything is locked out. Other than that it's no rep.
