Finale - Cabaret Animatic

i've really really wanted to do an animatic for cabaret for SO fucking long now, and i mean technically i've already made one before?? but it was for a completely different fandom and therefore it absolutely didn't count. but now i've finally actually made one for it like i've been meaning to and of course i choose to make it for the absolute last song in the entire fucking musical!!! because i'm an idiot, i hope y'all enjoy this tho, im hoping i'll be able to make more cabaret animatics in the future, cause it honestly is one of my favorite musicals of all fucking time, but.. we'll see, i can't say for sure

I saw this musical live at a local college and let me fucking tell you it was so fucking bone chilling. I still get goosebumps thinking about certain scenes and you captured it perfectly jslkfhasj

Ok I've gotta say, I fell in love with this show from the first few minutes of listening and you have no idea how much it excites me to discover this. It just captures the horror of the stage show and adds what couldn't be on stage. This is honestly so good.

when i saw this in person, i absolutely sobbed. i knew parts of what were to happen, but i don't think anything can prepare the audience for the horrors of this beautiful musical
what they decided to do was they stripped the set to where it was just the structure, tearing down everything. then you see herr shultz being captured and thrown off stage
its so beautiful, haunting, and moving and i'm always happy to see it being appreciated!!

yea, everyone's lines during that specific part of the finale are callbacks to earlier parts of the show, and his lines are the exact ones he used to calm fraulein schneider down when the stone got thrown through his window during the married reprise

Cabaret is my fucking favorite and this is so true to the different versions with a bit of zest by adding your own idea
The only thing I think you should have done was taken more advantage that your working it as a video more than a actual play
Though its personal opinion I prefer it to be more empty

I know this is a pretty old animatic by now but i keep coming back to the beginning bit(until about 1:10ish) because the way youve done cliff is just. Something about it is *so* good, esp the part where the emcee comes in. Not saying the rest of the animatic is bad or anything but that first bit just packs a whole lotta punch. And uh. Yeah.
