Arbi and raw banana is the main vegetable throughout the month long one time meal of the day for old ladies (Habishiyali).

For instance, sweet potatoes, eddoes and yams can be stored in the kitchen for weeks, if not months, without need for refrigeration. And they provide great sustenance for the body during winters. It is a very tasty vegetable .. we make it with green peas with all dry masala specially Kashmiri vadi and little gravy . It tastes yum with rice.our recepie needs no onion, garlic and tomato .
