okay so im 7 stone overweight but was inspired to join at the job fair today, a lot of weight too loose but now i have a clear goal in mind to aim for! gonna be watching alot of the tips here!
@@MilitaryFitnessI also want to progress in my career as soon as possible 😃 I am interested in complex investigations 😎 And I am half way through to my goal, I have passed a good half of the assessments and have some more next week 👀 Hopefully everything goes well🙏🏻 I have a superpower for this role - I look stupid 😄 But I enjoy this kind of work a lot 😀 And my goal in 20 years is to be happy, healthy, young and beautiful which means to do what will contribute to this today. I am doing really well so far 🙂 I hope you are doing well too 😊 It was a crazy week here in the UK and the energy has been heated up but I realised I learned a lot at work and gained some confidence which works like magic even without a uniform and equipment! Of course I have been lucky that I have not been in the situation that was too difficult for me to handle but still it's huge progress for me😇. I have learnt how to use my voice and body language for example, it's like an acting skill😄 My biggest challenge is to keep my face serious during that performance 🙂 I had to have a word with few guys in the place where I live and it worked😁 Anyway my another near future goal is to move to a better place... Hopefully I will sort out everything with my work progress soon and then will focus on that 😊🌸
Great video, it's been just over one year since I started basic training and all these points I have found really important. Yes you can be unfit and in the army but do you really want to be known as the unfit person in your troop. That being said its not being unfit that is bad, it is not putting effort in that is because you are not showing a willingness to improve.
I tired joining the army last year prepped myself physically and mentally for it and got turned down because I had asthma when I was 12 haha was gutted 😞
@millitaryfitness Hello mate. Like your videos. I would like to join as a driver but I am worried about the beep test. Do I have any preparation within the army before assessment centre or this the first thing I should ask ass to get a foot in at all?
@@MilitaryFitness thanks for the swift reply. I have done it today first time at 39 years old with a humiliating 2.1 so I am not sure I can ever make it to the required standard hence I thought there maybe an interim period before actually going for the assessment centre. Thanks will try and train
@@Stefan-lj5ziwhen I was doing the bleep test at home I was getting around 6-6.6 but when I got to assesment center the adrenaline and drive kicks in and I got to 10.1 so just keep going for it and practicing and it should go well, you can always go back if failed the first time as it doesn't mean a complete fail
@@Utlathram80 I went the PTI route so didn’t attempt it. Lots of my mates did and most of them passed. You just need to get on a prep course at your unit and you will be fine
Hey sam, I done my assessment centre and passed it but i had minor faults with my teeth so failed medically, but i was told if i get fillings then I’ll be eligible, but it took months for my dentist appointment to be set up and my army recruitment got closed because of how long it took, so im planning on getting back in contact and reopening my army recruitment so do you think id have to do the assessment centre again or will i go straight to catterick since technically i passed my assessment centre?
I'm applying to be an officer but application is still in review. I was told they'd book me to take the SCT blood test. But who knows what I should expect after this
hey Sam i was wondering if your able to start your career as a infantry soldier then switch after a certain amount of time to a different role for the qualifications such as a engineer
@@MilitaryFitness i would like to also ask if you have any recommended workout routine for joining the army with about a 6 month waiting time for the assessment centre
