So just a quick update, the skill starts working again when you put the latest "youtube-dl" directory in the lambda.zip file, cheers! ----------------------- unzip lamdba.zip (from github.com/shubhankarlkr/GeniusManthan-Alexa-lambda/blob/master/lambda.zip) # cd lambda # rm -r youtube-dl # cd ../ # wget yt-dl.org/downloads/latest/youtube-dl-2020.05.29.tar.gz # tar -xvzf youtube-dl-2020.05.29.tar.gz # cd youtube-dl/ # mv youtube-dl ../lamdba/ Zip lamdba folder to get the lambda.zip file again. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....
Are you asking Alexa to play the song "On TH-cam"? Like "Alexa, Play Despacito on TH-cam" If yes, try saying "Alexa, play Despacito from TH-cam" | Replace "ON" with "From"
It's not a scam, currently it's not working in 3rd gen. speaker but it's 💯% working in 4th gen. speaker. Please don't say it's fake and i am trying to resolve this for all users.
