this depiction of dracula shows the unstoppable power, arrogance, intelligence of the monster. I liked it. I hope they can do a season 2 of his past and his interaction with previous victims. BLOOD IS LIVES.
I loved ❤️ it ! Despite the 3rd episode being such a let down. The actor they chose to play Dracula was PERFECT 👌 and I thought it was an amazingly entertaining take on a classic.
First two episodes could have been a season and the third episode a season of its own. Wish they had fleshed it out because I want to see more of Agatha.
Episode 1: Dark, Depressing, Gothic, Mysterious, everything I wanted from a BBC Dracula. Episode 2: Decent. Not really as scary or suspenseful, dragged in some moments that could have been creepy, the side characters were REALLY stupid in some moments and THEN... Episode 3: CW levels of stupid
IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ this BEFORE watching this show. Only watch the first two episodes... they are really good. But please do NOT watch the third (last) episode. 1st - The second episode ending can be acceptable as an "ending" to the story as long as you stop episode 2 at 1:24:41. If you watch beyond that point you'll be too tempted to watch the 3rd episode. 2nd - To say that the third episode is garbage and a major disappointment is an understatement. It's like duck taping a zebra's butt to the back of a lion. Don't get Game-of-Throned ... pretend episode 3 doesn't exist.
I'm sorry but this is so dramatic. Episode 3 was definitely the weakest episode but it wasn't that bad. The first half was really stupid and full of wasted potential but I actually enjoyed the second half.
Guys what a series! Too bad to have only 3 episodes !!!! Great to have brought Dracula to the current century !!!! Not to mention the references Bram Stoker!!! Amazing!!!
They can continue. He bit Agatha/Zoe, so she'll come back as a vampire. Remember, he told Jonathan that vampires can't commit suicide when Jon tried to stake himself. Dracula knowingly drank Zoe's poisonous blood. Therefore, he will revive from it. Hello, season 2.
😆 I know, right? Like what the heck? Episode 3 turned into a bad cheap cheesy soap drama with so much cut out that you never bond with anyone. They just jump from one scene to the next skipping over any character growth. Such an insultingly bad last episode. They Game-of-Throned us.
Exactly . First episode was more from Bram Stroker's storyline but episode 3 was just wriiten by writers i could put in the category of D&D (GOT) . Lucy Wastenra was just a name they needed from book . Episode 3 took all the fun out of it
This was such a great twisted unique retelling of the same old story!!!! I really liked it!! 🧛♀️🦇🔥🔥😁😎 To the people asking if there will be S2.... No of course not... it was a self contained story... if you knew anything about BBC you'd know that. Hell if you actually watched the series you'd know there's no S2 lol.... To those who can't wrap around the idea of Ep3 ... it ties in the past with the future... it gave everyone in the past a future storyline. (also showing how times can change and sometimes we can effect the future)
The 1st episode was fantastic, the second was good and the 3rd episode is horrifically bad. Like seriously the 3rd episode ruins what seems to be a fantastic series up until that point
The terrible cliche of ‘ancient being or monster wakes up in modern times and discovers newfound contraptions’, and not only is this cliche used its done poorly.. The fact they shit on the character Lucy who in novel is one of the best characters imo becuase of how tragic her story is, they just depict her as a thot in this. No real established build up for the ending, what felt like a rushed episode trying to cram everything in last minute and the complete 180 of Dracula as a character which made no sense, this is then made worse when the show tries to make it look like an original idea, idk if u read but Anne Rice already has done it. Thats about as brief as I can get it
@@liam5969 oh ok I never read the novel so I dont really now how important lucy is...I see what you mean that everything was rushed...it would be better to tell a better story with more episodes but I dont know why it's only three
If you are watching this trailer to decide if you want to watch it, do yourself a favour, and go and watch it. The script and story are both brilliant. Three movie length episodes that suck you in then leave you wanting more. If you are a fan of Dracula, this is a must watch.
The actor who plays Dracula is great, but everytime he talks he just sounds like Sherlock and Dr. Who, the whole thing feels like a Moffat show, and I don't think it's good for Dracula.
The dialogues are excellent, such great writing! The character of Jonathan Harker is played so well; i felt just awful for him. Sister Agatha and Dracula are also tremendous performers, you really can't tear your eyes away from the screen when they are on. It's a clever reimagining of this tale and quite relevant to our time. Thumbs up from my side.
i thought the ending was wack.. it was an interesting mini series but not what i expected.. knowing he's a vampire but decide to let him go after capture.. GTFOH with that BS..

I just loved the serie and Claes Bang was perfect as Dracula. 1 and 2 episodes are very different from 3, in the end there are lots and lots of information and symbols, but watching it one more time everything felt into place and I love it now.
I’m so glad they didn’t cast Dracula and Agatha with younger people. I was SOOOOO not a fan of the time jump/younger characters thing (seriously is was like ‘ugh, this shit?) but I did get used to it even though I would have preferred if they didn’t do that.
