    Been following the Pacers very closely since Pascal joined them! Tonight (game 2) was such a wonderful night for Pascal and his teammates! He's clearly been asked to also have a leadership voice with his mates, and he's taking on that role nicely! Go Spicy P and the Pacers!

    Depending on what the team does with Browns extension the team is going to already be at 10-11 players.. Roster must be 15 including 2- two way contract. Raptors have 2 possibly 3 draft picks incoming. Honestly, Id try shopping Boucher for a 2nd round pick, to just get the 10 mil in cap space and a roster spot. I dont think teams are parting with any type of quality player for boucher and mcdaniels (16mil combined). Raptors also have a decent size trade exception from the Siakam trade to help facilitate some trades and take on some extra salary.

      Raps can use up to three two-way contracts to fill out their roster... 15 standard NBA contracts as well as 3 two-way contracts.

      @@IceManLikeGervin considering they’re going to be over the cap after signing quickly and Barnes max extension kicks in they’ll be hard pressed to roster 15 with no cap left.
      There not as much cap flexibility as people are lead to believe. I have a feeling the team is going to look very similar next year with just the additions of the draft picks and maybe Boucher gets moved.

    A lot of Raptors fans are a little distracted at the moment, watching Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, and Precious Aichuwa... leaving most of the haters free to roll and wallow in their own excrement.
    My sympathies,lol... but a helpful reminder,true Raptors fans have often tended to follow the players they've been loyal to even after the business side of the game has forced them to move on.

    The team was losing plenty of games when they were healthy. Looks like RJB, IQ, SB are the only ones safe from a trade, and I'm OK with keeping them. Trade everyone else for all I care, because I have no confidence that a summer playing & practicing together will improve them dramatically. The team and media that covers the Raptors said such things last Sept and Oct, and we fans were sorely disappointed. I don't mind losing if it's done right, and the basketball is fun to watch. We didn't get that for most of the season. Record blowouts and losses to all the bottom-feeders of the league were an embarrassment. Trades that should have been made a year or two ago, were delayed until our players value was too low to get anything worthwhile in return. It remains to be seen how great RJB, IQ, SB can be together until we see actual consistently decent shooters around them that can play at least average defence.

    Offensively Pascal looked nice, defensively he was the same shitty defender he was for us all year. I think he's actually somehow a net negative tbh. He messes up almost every boxout and cannot defend his man most of the time. I can see why Raps had to move on, he wanted way too much $$ and wasnt playing both ends of the court.

There was plenty of good to come from this season and yall are blind to it. Our future is brighter than most of the young teams in the NBA. If we don’t get to keep our top 6 pick I’d offer Jakob in some kind of deal to the Grizzles for their pick. They desperately need a big and before you say they might not do it you gotta remember the Grizzles were right there when they were healthy with Ja. They really don’t have much time to waste because they have JA and Bane right now and might be willing to make a push next season. Sure they might just go after Claxton but they might also value a veteran big for a playoff push.

      Why get more big men? There’s no back-up rim-protecting big when Poeltl goes to the bench. Also, Poeltl’s future with the Raptors is murky. If the team’s best back-up rim-protecting big is Kelly Olynyk, I find it hard for the team to improve defensively. They don’t need to overpay Claxton, but getting a guy with his similar skillset is a must for a cheap price. Losing Koloko to health problems was a brutal hit.

      @adrianau6679 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bryce.lawson I wouldn't say this is the least of the team's worries. After all, if you watched one of Masai's end-of-season pressers, he said the three main needs of the team, which are back-up PG, back-up rim-protector, and a defensive-minded wing. Getting a rim-protecting big is just as important as getting a back-up PG and a defensive wing. Big men depth isn't the problem here, it's about getting a big man that fills the team needs. Kelly Olynyk is a good back-up big, but he's not the rim-protector Poeltl is and will never be given the fact he's already 33. I already said they don't need to overpay Claxton. I only said they need a guy with his skillset for a cheaper price and you can easily draft one in the second round.
