I know I'm a year late but it might help if you build another bus down the road. Drilling the bolt heads off is the fastest and best way to remove that aluminum track. Then you can grind down or hammer out the remaining part of the bolt.

Thank you so much! I was at a dead end... i came to the same conclusions and hoping there was a better way but i guess not 🤦♀️😩

Do you drill the bolt heads off with the same angle grinder? Or do you use another tool?
