I LOVE this song! This song has been nailed into my head as my favorite since I first heard it in like... 2019! I had no idea that anyone reacted to it and I'm so glad there's someone who's done a reaction video. I'm so happy you've heard the song I'd say is my favorite of all time
I always had the games on my radar but only just now got around to playing them (started with 2 because that's what Reddit insists is the best order) and I'm impressed. I had previously played Moero Chronicles and while that was a fun game, Mary Skelter is on a whole other level. For what it is, production values are amazing, fully voiced in Japanese, great music, as stylish as Persona 5 and The World ends with you.

@@SirSerpentine87 Mary skelter 2 introduced me to the DRPG sub genre of RPG’s. Very glad I was able to experience this franchise all the way through. I didn’t really knew about the DRPG genre at all. But to think I missed out on a lot of great hidden gems out there is quite sad. Since most of these types of games were mainly marketed & released on platforms like the PSP/PSVita and probably other PS platforms. Because as far as i was aware of, I’ve never seen DRPG’s marketed or released on like the Nintendo DS or like the Wii, GameCube etc etc…Nintendo systems after all rarely ever got that many RPG’s ever since the SNES era. But yeah, Pretty glad that Mary skelter games were able to release on the Nintendo switch as I probably wouldn’t never had a chance to experience this series. And with that other DRPG’s that have released on the system such as Labyrinth of Refrain, Demon Gaze, Moero Chronicles/Crystals etc etc. this sub genre definitely has become one of newfound favorites over the past 5 years or so lol. Anyways, long comment aside lol…Always glad to see other fans of niche games that experience franchises like Mary skelter and enjoy it.

MSF 3. MSN Nightmares is not bad by no stretch of the imagination, it’s still excellent and definitely improved on the Switch version that comes packaged with MS2 to tie the whole story together! All 3 entries are solid as they have great narrative, setting, lore plot, great cast of characters, and interestingly distinct Soundtrack. And same here, this video got recommended to me outta the blue since I’ve been binging through the entire Mary skelter trilogy OST as of lately. And agree, Mary skelter games Deserve more love.
Ah, such a wonderful track. This is the player's Main Hub theme for Mary Skelter 2 (which though being a sequel to Nightmares technically comes first in terms of Dev-intended play order), which really comes through in the vibe this track gives off. It feels high energy, yet you feel relaxed as if it were low energy. Melancholic, yet determined. A place to relax with friends, in spite of the horrors waiting outside the camp. The general vibe of the three games is very much pushing against despair and finding hope (with little bits of nuance in there for each specific game of course), and the Violin-infused soundtrack really helps get that across (I said it in the first Mary Skelter video, but its safe to say that around 70-80% of the soundtrack across all 3 games features, or is predominantly led by, violins in some fashion, so this track is *very* indicative of what to expect from a good chunk of the game's utterly stellar music). The big critter you're interested in by the way, the one sitting in the background behind the other two characters, is surprisingly enough an Ally but its appearance should give you a decent idea of what the more hostile enemies in Mary Skelter might look like considering this big sinister looking fellow is actually a friend.
Other than this channel I have zero experience with Mary Skelter, I never even knew it existed until this channel so it's got to be obscure but that makes me excited. The piano intro lead into the violin part smoothly and the electronic gives it a bit of a fun feel. This just puts the word distinguished in my mind, the violin just has that feel, I can see a classy character having this play. I have no idea where this plays or the context but this sounds like a character theme to me. Nice chords, the synths are used pretty tastefully as well. Not a whole lot to say but that isn't a bad thing, I'm usually mixed on experimental songs but this one I like.

Someone should have him "Rave of Nightmare" to listen as a lark. That dang song is so stressful the first time you hear it, and it kinda needs context what is happening in the game to "get it".
I suggest you to Check out Danger Line Children Night and Encounter they are pretty good for atmosphere especially the Children night and encounter For battle I say the best one would be one more red nightmare
I don't know what it is about this type of sound, but just from hearing it I can already see the generic animu waifu bait. These types of games, and often times that type of moe blob anime, too, usually seem to sound exactly like this. I like the sound of it, but the things that usually come to mind with this are just... uh.... yeah...
