After my great grandmother died, I inherited some of her belongings. She had a copy of this song tucked in her bible. Every time I hear it, I think of her. It’s like she is reminding me to keep my eyes on Jesus always.
Thank you. After years fighting dementia, my mother could still remember the chorus of this hymn well enough to sing it a few days before passing on May 4, 1991. My brother--in-law and I were conducting devotion, and she joined in with us. That following Saturday she passed. This song is always a comfort to me.
