Bhai I was a devops engineer in Pakistan. but now I am working as a store cashier in New Jersey. will start my IT journey from scratch here in America. thanks for the information
Salman Bhai, please review your suggestion. I swear to God, just yesterday I had an interview for a Full Stack role, and the candidate ahead of me left in merely 3-5 minutes because he couldn't communicate in English. This wasn't the first time I've seen this happen; I've witnessed it repeatedly. Please advise your IT audience to focus on learning and improving their communication skills, especially in English. Fortunately, this is an ability that can be improved over time. :)
I believe this is your second comment. How did you know the candidate before you had bad English? And /or if they took 3-5 minutes only. In America we have appointments not stand in line for interviews. Lol but all depends on the job. But don't work for a company who is telling you about why other candidates did not make it. Well communication and fluency in English is 2 different things! I am talking about fluency!
@@SalmanTariq2.0 just updated the same comment, and the candidate is my colleague, knows the tech stack but lacks in communication. Here, we have appointments as well, his interview was schedule just ahead of me but he left in a fly, didn't qualify for the next round.
@@sadam_khan that's very unfortunate to hear. I wish we were past this thinking that speaking english fluently and having the best grammar is necessary but clearly it is still a thing in Pakistan. Here, the VP i work with has the worst grammar ever, but can identify code issues in milliseconds which is why he is the VP. There are lots of Indians who are in tech roles and we hire them for their skills not necessarily for their English skills. As long as they are getting their point across, that is all that matters at the end of the day. But thank you for bringing up this point, will definitely speak about it in one of my upcoming videos

I just moved to France with a Bachelor's degree in CS , and I'm not receiving any calls, even for internships, because most job/internship requirements are at the Master's level. So maybe degree is not needed is only applicable in the US.
@@afaqfarooq4985 unfortunately yes! Like I have said its for people in US. There is no degree requirement anymore and more like degree OR 3 to 5 years of experience :)

AOA Salman, your vidoes are our dinner companion nowadays :) they are informative and fun to watch so thanks for that. We are in US, lived in Chicago for two years and are currently living in Cleveland, OH. We are planning to move to Dallas or Houston since now my job allows us to work from anywhere in the US. Can you please share your thoughts and experiences on which city is the better place to live in for pak/muslim family: Chicago, Dallas or Houston?
Thank you for watching me and I am glad I am keeping your dinners entertaining 😀. To answer your question its very subjective. I moved here from Chicago almost 1.5 ago. Dallas is nice but turns out it's not for me and my family. Eventually we will go back! DM me on insta I will share my experience.
