Pierce Curtin All barbers care about their clients..they have to...some more than others though...you cant be a successful barber without clients..and they are all money hungry or else they wouldnt be pushing to go further...its just how society works..you NEED money to survive and the more you have the more comfortable you live hoping you had a passion for what you do..and considering that its clean money...so they all want to earn good money, theyre all moneyhungry in a way even 360.. however you want to look at it...i think what separates 360 is that he is genuinely humble, as with other barbers they become cocky and start feeling some kinda way, like "celebrities" above others type way. 360 still seems real and down to earth with everyone and thats what i like about him.
I work at a homeless shelter for 18-24 year olds and my kids can’t afford haircuts but they really lift a person’s spirits. I was inspired to learn to cut hair to fill this void. I’m still learning for sure but these videos have been a life saver!

Definitely inspired me to pick up the pace in high school with this "idea" of becoming a barber. At first it was hard to learn but by paying attention to media barbers and putting in the work. i have come a long way and still have a long way to go as an artist, so thanks for the inspiration to move forward as a person.

I always had an “easy haircut” per my barbers, so with all of this pandemic virus insanity going on, and the risk of being exposed to this virus being extreme once all the salons and barber shops open back up I finally took the plunge and am able to do everything for myself.
I bought a very nice professional detachable blade clipper, a couple of different cut lengths, a finisher, and disinfectant. I’ve already given myself my first cut and the results are great considering it is my first time. I’m impressed, and I can’t wait to see how much I’ll improve over time.
Bottom line is I should have done this years ago. It is going to save me so much time, gas, money, and I can even help others with cutting their own hair if I want.
These videos on youtube have been invaluable for showing me what to do. Thank you!

@@RaulRM3 Its been pretty good! Since this post I have been back to the barber shop once in May 2021. I will probably go back again pretty soon just to get some areas cleaned up that I find to be a bit difficult to keep that way on my own (over a long period of time).
Otherwise, I still use the clippers every week. It has probably saved me a considerable amount of money over that time. How about yourself?

Great video, I searched best clippers for beginner barbers. My 21 year old son started cutting him and his friends hair when he was away at college due to lack of barbers in the area. When he came home he started cutting his brothers & grandmas hair. Now that we’re in a pandemic he’s still cutting but needs better clippers. I’m still a bit confused is there a pack or bundle set that I could get him?

Jeezy DEF DEF support your helpful tips tricks an flicks that you put time in to helping out all the BARBERS trying to learn from you to PERFECT their craft....a lot of people think we got it easy as BARBERS as far as what we do for a living but in reality we are artist there's some people who want to be BARBERS and try to be BARBERS and then there's people who are just Masters in the game and perfectionist of their craft it's good to see people love cutting so much and take it as serious as you wanting to show others how to get much better if they're not where they need to be yet in the game you also have a Happy Thanksgiving my boy and keep putting up that knowledge for the people who really trying to take the Barber life serious!! I am a hairdresser, doing a few mens' haircuts a month (I do mostly ladies). I have been using Oster 76 Classics for the past 15 years, but they seem to have discontinued the blades for the '76. Would the Wahl Senior be a good clipper for me? I don't do any serious clipper work, just a little fading and scissors at the top. I could really use some good advice on my next pair of clippers. THANK YOU!! :)
They still sell blades for the 76, seniors corded or cordless is a great choice

Prices when up in the barber shop so I decided to cut my own hair. To be honest I have no experience and always screw up but kept practicing I started using conair but now I use wahl and I have far better results with wahl so for beginners I say use wahl clippers.

Can you do what a contour fade is vs low fade or drop fade
Pierce Curtin simply put, a contour fade is just based on your clients head. Just depends on their bumps and what not on the sides. a drop fade is basically a mid fade that drops down to usually the occipital bone (the bump/bone on the back of your head)

Everyone is complaining about the prices.. but what y'all don't understand is the location of the shop also influences the prices. Also just bc u paid 30 doesn't mean ur barber gets those 30 he probably only gets 50% so yes TIPPING helps...if u can't afford a 30 cut then go to the hood for ur $10 cut where he doesn't sanitize his equipment lol

These prices are expensive. I got 2 boys and me. 3 heads @$30.=$90 and tip. Once every two weeks. $360 a month. $360 a month invested from age 30 to 65 with a rate of return of 9% is $1,000,000+. Learn how to cut people. It's not that hard. Sure you'll mess up every now and then. But you'll get better. Plus hair grows back weekly. Mess up this week. Well you have next week to do it all over again.
