God there's nothing worse than dueling with a scout helicopter pilot who's running heatseekers and the side passengers are spamming stingers. Constant mobility hits.. -_-
***** People can spawn on you, but not directly on the jet. The only time others can spawn on a jet is if its landed on a friendly runway (ie. Caspian Border, OP Firestorm)
Maybe now DICE will finally realize that lock-ons have been OP since day-1 of this game, and start nerfing them severely instead changing the magazine sizes of sniper rifles, which are currently balanced.
Lock Ons are not and never were OP. They may be annoying but they are not OP and you cant take them out. Why? Because then helicopters would be completely free to dominate any map without mobile AA. Sure you can use dumb fire launchers to take them out but the odds of doing that for even good players are low especially when up against an experienced pilot you would have almost no chance of hitting it. I never understood why people dont understand this and call lock ons noob weapons. Ive shot down many helicopters with RPGs but when theres that one pilot dominating i damn sure will pick up a lock on launcher to take them out or at least keep them at bay. You guys pick your choice.
+Nikolai Belinski all you have to do it turn your helicopter perpendicular to the direction of the lock on, the idea is that the missile will simply pass through the open side of the chopper.
Done some testing and pretty much confirmed a glitch which allows scout heli to dodge any lock-on. Apparently they lock on the pilot, not the chopper. So just turning to a 90 degree angle (point your side towards the lock) and the missile will just spin around the scout and miss 9 out of 10 at least. Vertical angle might have been the reason a few stingers landed when I tested. Yes, the glitch info is out now.

Btw, a good set up when you have a friend playing with you is the PLD and laser guided missiles on the scout heli. The mini guns are already good at dealing with air and ground, and the laser guided missile increases ground capabilities. And when your friend lazes an enemy heli, the laser guided missile acts as a one shot knock out weapon. Please try this combo! Awesome video level!
THE dirtiest combo: Levelcap as support so he can put an ammo box in the chopper( yes you can do that) so that Matimi0 has infinite Stinger missles and ammo xD .

yea, the scout heli is crazy good especially with a stinger/repair crew. I love flying a jet and the best I can do by myself is pester them. The scout's 7.62 miniguns, physics defying agility, and small frame makes it hard to hit with my jet's 25/30 mms and huge fuselage. Only way I know to take down a scout team is teamwork from another good jet pilot or competent MAA. That being said, it's refreshing to fight something that can bite back.

so many little things really bugged me about this video. 1) LevelCap should be using Indirect Fire field upgrade to give ammo to Matt 2) if Matt is using stingers, i feel like LevelCap should be using laser guided, or if Level is using heat seakers, Matt should use Jav (or other rocket for ground targets) 3) Matt should be using a shotgun with frag rounds 4) They didn't attack a boat once 5) This 8:27 shoot him with your mini gun while his ECM is deployed! 6) And of course, the jet ram 6:59 love the double vision video tho!

Well, yeah, you can re lock it, but if you had stinger, you simply wait until Ecm or flares runs out and shoot again, at a same time as with igla. But stinger is far better for this. You just lock, shoot, lock again, shoot and so on. With igla you have to lock, shoot and maintain lock, and lock again, maintain lock again.......... Igla have much lower "rpm".
lvl cap, place a supply crate on Matimi0's side so he get's ammo after he shoots stingers or primary. if not, use the perk that regens ammo off ally vehicles

I think they should change the ammo crates support carry, to 1 crate per match and it can't be destroyed. It could be used by both teams or whoever holds the location it was placed at. But that makes it interesting to make sure you place it in the right area at the right time. It would limit a lot of the spamming if your team moves up to C flag and yet you need to go back to B flag to get ammo. So spamming would be there as a team holds and tries to push. But would get limited the farther they move forward meaning spammers spend time running back and forth more. So if a support player dropped ammo at A he can no longer help you a C and so on. Plus it would remove this OP heli setup if Mat had to land to resupply his stinger. Plus you'll need to push forward to get your ammo back if you lost hold of where you dropped it. I also think maybe jeeps could be the mobile supply units in larger vehicle maps. Meaning you had to find an ammo crate or a supply jeep. That way a jeep used to join a fight could also help supply it. A team trying to capture the flag gets rewarded with ammo now.

I put it in the bug tracker. It's a confirmed exploit and you shouldn't use it.

Igla is better when in the heli because you can re-lock the target :3
But you have to maintain the lock. With the Stinger you just fire and immediately reload and move on to the next target
