Peugeot LandTrek: Good But Is It Better Than The Japanese Trucks?

It really should not come as a surprise that Peugeot has introduced a pick up truck for the Malaysian market. The Landtrek has been around since 2020 and the Changan model that it is based on has been around since 2019.
The fact that it has taken this long to arrive in Malaysia is the surprising part. But lets blame Covid for that and the fact that the Peugeot brand has gone through some changes as far as brand custodians are concerned.
The truck itself is mighty capable, but is it capable enough to be picked over the Japanese establishment. Better than the Hilux or the D-Max? We find out for you!

Really like your honest review. A comparison with isuzu dmax 1.9 premium plus would be a great head-head battle. Same engine size with almost same specs.

Bro i just did a 300km test drive for the MAA COTY competition. Agreed on the harsh ride . car is not too bad tho

The interior is definately nice. But at that price, it leaves a lot to be wanted. The competition unfortunately checks more boxes than the Landtrek.

Yes maybe the company might have built commercial vehicles that was not China. 150 hp is really weak for a pickup. Must not be built with the idea of highways over 45 Mph.
