I just don't understand why we don't just have an option under general settings to enable or disable this. It doesn't make sense to have to go through this wonky process. I like Ford, but come on

First set didn't work. I have a 2020 Ford ecosport. There are only locks on the doors. I tried the first set with those and it doesn't work. I really need help bc I'm a Doordasher and I need my car to lock quickly and automatically. Please help
Good demonstration. I don’t understand how my car just started locking itself suddenly since I didn’t do any of the steps in the video! Activating Single door unlock on your ford
Whilst car is locked
Press and hold both lock and unlock buttons together, until indicators flash.
This will mean now that when you press the unlock key the drivers door only will unlock,
press it a second time and all doors unlock, great safety feature, :ph34r:
press lock once and all doors including boot lock as normal
press lock twice within 30seconds and dead lock mode is activated meaning doors cant be unlocked from inside the car, if window is broken or a person is inside front or rear the doors wont open, unless the unlock button is pressed
Earlier Focus models had a small lever just below the door handle
To disable outsid door handles you just pushed in the small lever one the engine was started
Now we need a tutorial (thanks Raq) to make good Ford's penny pinching

Do you need to keep door open ? Tried exactly what u have done but it didnt work for me
Think it only works for models outside the EU. I'm from UK and this won't work for me but I read up it's to do with the location and it's not available on every model

@@MCrilly08 oh yeah maybe, mines a fiesta mk7, and to answer the original question for that other person just incase they see this, yes the door has to be open

Sorry, long press disable auto lock or is it short press?
I have a 2015 transit connect, and I do the whole procedure with the door lock given there is not a central console button for it, and it all goes well entering programming mode, but it does nothing when I try to go to Auto Unlock. Nothing. Any advice?

You dont need to press 3 times ...to lock the car from the inside you just press once on the auto lock

Hello. I have a ford transit connect 2015. This tutorial doesn't work. I enter programming mode and performed all steps. Tested. No success. I repeated it all. And still no success. Do you have any advice?
It was the same in my 2014 kuga. This option have to be unlocked / activated by interface first (genuine ford VCDS or FORSCAN -if compatible).
Then you can programming it as well by car buttons sequence.
I can imagine this feature will have you at the garage a lot quicker with the constant use of the locks being open and closed
That's why I want to turn the worthless thing off

Just hold the unlock button on the key it should work, works on my 2010 focus

I have tried 14 dam times to figure out what the Hell he is saying at the most important section of the dam video . At the 1:12 seconds point. It sounds like he is just repeating “ the auto lock “
