I'm gonna pretend like I'm not fishing tour guide who spends 4 30 + hours a week on a river packed with them. We catch 10-15 pike per trip. I know what pike looks like . Plus, I literally Googled pickerel and put my screen side by side. And clearly a night and day difference. That fish's jaws are way too big and not enough teeth.
Pickerel is a fish on my bucket list.

Walleye? WTH?. Pike and pickerel are esox. Walleye part of the perch family. That looks like a pike or it's a huuuuge pickerel!
