Hello Abhishek Ji !! Congratulations for your achievement. I've also applied for similar posts (Asst. Registrar / AO / Jr. Superintendent etc.) in various INIs. Can you guide as to how should I prepare for the same. The syllabus is huge & it's next to impossible to cover the whole syllabus. I'm currently working in govt. sector on contract but at a lower post. what are the most important topics that I should cover to clear the written exam ? CCS Rules, CCS(CCA) Rules, GeM, CPPP, PFMS, RTI Act, CGHS, Medical Attendance, Reservation policy, Accountancy, FR & SR,.....the list is endless....please devise a strategy & guide how to study...?
@@abhijitsharma2091 The syllabus you have mentioned in the comment is the one which even I prepared. For administrative posts in INIs usually, the questions revolve around Establishment and GFR. I also suggest you prepare for numerical related questions in Establishment e.g. -
* How to calculate a govt servant's pension as per NPS and OPS?
* Pay fixation
* How joining time is calculated?
* How the leaves calculation is done?
These topics are super important and refer to "SAS Exam Preparation" questions related to procurement (GFR) for an overview that will help you in interviews. Nowadays during interviews panelists are very excited to hear about the GeM portal because of the push to use this for all procurement-related work.

Instead of 25k to 5 lakh -- it’s given 50k to 30 lakh
Instead of 5 lakh -- it’s given 30 lakh

Please clarify the role of DGS&D in purchase of goods
It was like a rate contract where term and condition was fixed and list of empanalled vendors was there. So it was like flipkart...vendors was registered, you need digital certificate (DC), check the item, if it's available in DG S&D, then directly place the order with the registered vendors for the requirements.
Now DGS&D is replaced with GEM
