Here is an idea, Papa New Guinea has a breakout of a new virus and attempts to send sick patients into Australia, Australia tries to stop them but they refuse. This ends up in Australia sending navy to send the Papua New Guineans back to Papua New Guinea, resulting in broken relations.
Maybe some smaller Oceanic Island countries like Tonga, Nauru, Tuvalu, Micronesia, Kiribati and Marshall Islands unite to boost their economy to help reduce the raising water levels?

Holy, the War of the Persian Succession was chaotic as heck, lots of involvment and escalation, no wonder why it took you so long.. And Mongolia.. apparently the spirit of Genghis Khan and the former Mongol Empire was on their side, maybe even speed tactics? their victory was a real miracle for them, the next war for them won't be so easy tho, they probably need to wait a very long time in order to start another war, especially after defeating a literal military powerhouse, they likely will target Russia next to unite the mongol and mongol related people into their empire. Anyways this episode was good, i like it, and i hope the wait was worth it for every viewer 👍.

The war ends with Kurdistan losing borderlands but managing to join NATO and Türkiye leaving (fits anyway since the members by now are authoritarian and/or nationalist dictatorships save for Belarus). Idea #2: Great Arab Schism: Somaliland wants more friends, so they decide to get more friends by funding their rebel brothers in Ogaden. This is what finally makes Ethiopia break out into civil war against its ethnic minorities, with Somaliland and Puntland (who joined due to convincing) aiding Ogaden (Somali Djibouti refused to saying it’s a dumb idea). Eritrea joins in to gain land but the totalitarian dictatorship is finally overthrown and replaced by a democracy, which leaves both the war and Arab League. Around the same time, Libya collapses into the State of Tripolitania (military junta), the Emirate of Cyrenaica and the Great People’s Socialist Fezzan Jamahiriya. With Arab League preoccupied with the two crisis (and dealing with Syrian-Lebanese refugees and propping up Yemen) Morocco seizes the opportunity to invade Western Sahara once and for all, with Algeria declaring war on Morocco. Meanwhile, the EAF wants to help Ethiopia but is faced with protests and the instability in DRC, however Chile offers to help and let its troops pass through to Ethiopia, which EAF accepts. With this, Ethiopia crushes the rebels except for Ogaden, which survives with half of its territory thanks to Somaliland once again convincing the Arab League to at least get something out of this disaster by letting Ogaden free and joining Arab League. Thanks to support from the US, Morocco pushes into Algeria and Berber revolts erupt (funded by Fezzan which is more Berber nationalist than Gadaffist Libya). In the end Algeria gets humbled and loses Greater Morocco lands to Morocco and its south to the new Berber state, which allies with Fezzan. Algeria is now barely clinging on, with both nationalist and communist movements rising (outcome of that can be dealt eventually). Idea #3: Down with the Union Jack! Australia, Fiji, Tuvalu and New Zealand begin questioning the point of the Union Jack on their flags when the UK is gone, so they hold referendums and the option to change wins by a landside in all the countries, who change their flags to Union Jack-less flags (good ending). Idea #4: The 14th state of Malaysia Brunei agrees to join Malaysia with higher autonomy than Sarawak and Sabah (Malaysia’s Borneoan states) and the chance for the ruler to contest for the Yang-di-Pertuan-Agong (Malaysia’s elective king). This is because of increased Chinese naval activity in its sea zone and Malaysia’s recent prosperity. also in my opinion the previous Iranian regime should be called “Islamist Iran” and the breakaway be called “Democratic Iran”.
