@@chrispa9573 Ok, for All main Acting categories. Yet ELR has 5 main cast, so technically, no. The description says: "the entire lead (main) cast won (at least 1/a single) emmy(s). To simply put it: "Each one of its four/five principal cast members has won a primetime Emmy."
Funny story if you don’t know this. Will and Grace wasn’t nominated for the first season except for a directing nod. When DHP won for supporting actor that year (1999) he recognized Sean in his speech for not being nominated basically giving tell everyone he should had been nominated. Class act to acknowledge looked over work.
Just realized Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullaly, and Sean Hayes all have won an Emmy for their roles Debra-2003 Megan-2000 Eric-2000 Sean-2000
Amazing that everybody except for Boyle would end up winning an Emmy or a few by the end of their shows’ runs. David Hyde Pierce was already won three by 2000 and would win another in 2004. Peter MacNichol would win the next year and Brad Garrett would win three in 2002, 2003, and 2005.
It is interesting that Juliane Margolis (sorry for them isspelling of her name) wouldn't even do a scene together at the end of Archie's run on the Show. Archie's character ( I forget her name) was really good on the Show. She did a very believable tough female who even Men were afraid of.
Very happy for Sean, though I think it was at least a tad ironic that he received the Emmy straight from Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson of "Dharma and Greg," to which "Will and Grace" was sometimes compared (at least on the surface).

He was the whole show for me...cracked me up every single show.
true him and megan
Sean Hayes is amazing and an outstanding actor. Jack and Karen was Will and Grace for me. He really deserved this award!
I'm glad Sean Hayes won for that season of Will & Grace. Fully deserving that year.
The whole cast of Will & Grace was/is great. Great, great ensemble.
Will & Grace one of four comedy series where the entire lead cast won Emmys! The others are: All in the Family, Golden Girls and Schitt’s Creek!👍🏻
My favorite type of trivia. And it was a close call for Debra who was the last one to win.
Everybody loves Raymond did.
@@chrispa9573 Peter Boyle never won.
@@jhengleone I meant the show won all 4 categories. Lead & supporting actor & actress. Brad Garrett , ray romano , Patricia Heaton and Doris Roberts

Soooo sweet how he mentioned his mother :)
I love how DHP is so pleased for him. Class act.

God those were the days, Will n grace and Frasier facing off against eachother!
I love the reference of Christine Baranski, it refer to her Emmy win in 1995 and made her lead actress dead jealous 😁
Sean Hayes is hilarious,deserved victory!!
You know you're great when you win over David Hyde Pierce!
it should be known as the DHP award so other actors have a chance to win it
He was the best in the show ,he outperform everybody ,so talented Sean !
Sean Hayes has great acting on Will & Grace in season 2.
God I love this man! How wonderful he dedicated it to his mother. I too come from a woman who had to raise her children by herself. I get it.
Bestttt everrr😍sean really deserved it I swear hes so amazing
He's like a sunshine throughout the show.
Karen and Jack made the show, periodt!
Woooow look at those nominees!!
What an incredible list 👍👍👍
he was gorgeous
Look how happy James Burrows is for him
One of the many reasons he's a legend.
I love him!
1:27 Rosario!!
RIP Rosie
Luv him
Excelent actor and comedian. Well deserved!
Sir Sean Hayes, BRAVO👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
he is great
i loved seeing sean and megan win in the same year!
Dharma and Greg!!
congrats Sean, you earned every moment the camera was on you...
Tough competition. I think that Hyde-Pierce and Garrett treaded this award these few seasons. Boyle should have won at least once
Just realized Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullaly, and Sean Hayes all have won an Emmy for their roles
Debra-2003
Megan-2000
Eric-2000
Sean-2000
Actually I think that Eric have won in 2001 and Megan won in 2006 too
The second sitcom to win in all four acting categories! First one was All in the Family and the most recent third one was Schitt’s Creek!
So talented man
So deserved

It was between him and Nails from "Frasier"
remy paraskovia Niles
The intro truly resonates with what happened to Archie Panjabi's EMMY win

1:27 Rosario!
Wow him thanking his mom 🥰
I kinda expected a "let me rephrase that" after saying"for putting such funny things in our mouths" but he didn't.
And now he has a Tony to keep it company ✨
Great writing too
Jack was always my favorite and he seemed vastly talented even though he was a banana in his role as Jack.
Very happy for Sean, though I think it was at least a tad ironic that he received the Emmy straight from Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson of "Dharma and Greg," to which "Will and Grace" was sometimes compared (at least on the surface).
Was the character Greg Gay- I don't think so.
@@HoldenNY22 That's why I added "(at least on the surface)"
“JUST JACK”. 😂
1:27 ross and monia at the back XD
I love him and thought he was great on the show but I also thought they were all great on that show.
Chuck Lorre wrote this...😊
he reminds me of Tom Cruise here... hmmm..
Lol
lol but he can actually act. so that. makes no sense
Because he’s gay?
Who was the male presenter?
Thomas Gibson. He was in Chicago Hope, Criminal Minds and Dharma and Greg with co-presenter Jena Elfman.
TV was so much better back then... now is just nothing but scripted reality shows
lol everybody's white omg
+Gustavo Henrique Do you just want a token black guy regardless of talent?
+InterestingName why do you suppose there aren't enough talented black professionals? There are. That's not the reason why there isn't any black people. Like, are you serious?
Gustavo Henrique The percentage of black people who live in the US is actually not that big. Race and gender quotas take from the true merit of talent
+InterestingName hahahahahahahahahahahaha tell me more lies, I love it

These awards and speeches seem mundane. Empty devoid pointless
