@@InvestYadnya A very helpful video Just one question, who is responsible for compiling and publishing the gdp data in India and which website can I refer to get it
Are we exclude all subsidies given by governamnet for various aspects like business establishment and for manufacturing companys from gdp calculation ?
Redmi phones are reassemble at India. But parts are come from chaina..but reassemble inside India and selling. So this seller of redmi will increase our gdp or chaina GDP?
I don't get one thing that if mobile is made in India and it is not sold or purchased will it be included in gdp...does gdp include production or sales ..if produced and is sold then only it will be included or even if just produced still it will get included
Q1. was there any situation in the history of Bharat, where GDP grew with deflation? Q.2. why inflation is good for any economy, i believe when goods price will be low, people will buy more hence we'll have more demand in the economy. Demand curve will be straight and shifting to right. ( inflation is may be good for FDP, but in our country it kills poor. )
I am not clear with the GDP calculation. By definition, GDP is the value of all final goods and services produced within the geographical boundaries of a country. So why do we consider Net Foreign Factor Income in calculations for GDP at Factor cost? (NFFI = income earned by the rest of the world in India - income earned by India from the rest of the world ). As per the mathematical formula of NFFI here, don't you think NFFI calculation involves earnings made by Indians and Indian entities in foreign countries, so going by the definition of GDP, NFFI should not be included in GDP calculations. Please clarify my doubts.
Now days many foreign cell phone companies like vivo , oppo , mi are assembling there products in India however spare parts are imported . Will this come under intermediate goods or final goods. Will it be considered to caluculate GDP ?
sai ram charan kumar it's been three month since you have asked this question.. I hope u found the answer by now. India has now 💯% fdi in mobile manufacturing that's y the boost in mobile production. However to calculate GDP the duties/expenditure on import of units would be deducted from the value of mobiles assembled in India. Don't know for sure. But If u found the right do share.
Happy we could help. We are sure you will find this ebook very useful too - investyadnya.in/books/india-economic-indicator-report-&-analysis-july-2019-1
When u say NATIONAL INCOME,it already has the NFFI(because NATIONAL INCOME = DOMESTIC INCOME+NFFI). Then why should we consider NFFI again on account of GDP calculation?
Why gdp is important ? Suppose something is made in India by an Indian company and sold in india which is definitely calculated in gdp but how it is helpful for country because same amount in country was invested and same amount remaines here 🤔
Ask yourselves : 1. GDP can be faked or impossible to be faked? 2. IMF does not know which country faked the gdp because IMF cannot audit. 3. So, do you wonder what is the accuracy of world GDP forecasts by IMF? 4. Have you ever wondered why IMF play along with this numbers game?
What if country is producing less but still is self-sufficient? It will surely have low GDP. But does lower GDP means that it's economic health is low?
Suppose GDP For a particular year is 2.9 trillion . is it to be calculated for subsequent year too ? So , for even next year country must producing and giving services equally or greater than 2.9 trillion. Right?

GDP Gross Domestic product, The final value of goods and services produced in a country in a year, C+I+G+(X-M) consumption plus investment plus Govt Expenditure plus Exports minus imports, if 5+6+3+(5-2) =17.. ,if Imports exceed exports 5+6+3+(2-3)=13 ,when we add only consumption plus investment plus govt expenditure plus exports when we were not adding imports there is no need to mention the letter "M" as per formula if we calculate we will get wrong . Income method, expenditure method ,product methods are not giving correct values due to the complexity in collecting data, no country was able to caliculate correct GDP . A detailed discussion may be taken on the global platform , to redefine, to avoid complexity and to get GDP at least with 90 percent accuracy.
for eg if you buy car worth 5 lakh and want to sell it after 3 years it will sell at 3 lakh .The remaining amount 2 lakh is depreciated means it is subtracted due to the lesser amount of life expectancy of that car or any physical asset.

Why GDP shown in percentage rather than in numbers? How do we compare it with previous years?
:)
Its same why our portfolio returns are shown in percentage and not in numbers. Growth %age gives us much better idea.
Why did you add depreciation in national income? Shouldn't have we subtracted that from national income?
Thank you so much for the video. it is helpful for my exams

Nice explanation sir
when calculating GDP, why do we only include final goods and services?
Because, if we will include intermediates as well then, same good can be counted twice.

National income = total income from all sectors+foreign income
How to increase the GDP of our country?
GDP can be increased by more economic activity - more businesses, more consumption
What is depreciation
for eg if you buy car worth 5 lakh and want to sell it after 3 years it will sell at 3 lakh .The remaining amount 2 lakh is depreciated means it is subtracted due to the lesser amount of life expectancy of that car or any physical asset.
What about ganja , is that included ...
