@@kauritrees I mostly depends on the weather,how steep the land is and how big the trees are if the land ends up looking like a moon scape at the end of the job.Those factors are beyond the control of the logging contractor
There are some Kauri trees growing at -46 degrees south (and even further south). Preparation is the key to success. That’s why I’m planting the nurse trees before the first Kauri get planted in May 2025. As climate change continues to warm the southern climes, the environment for Kauri will improve.
Sounds like a significant undertaking! Looking forward to seeing the process of Kauri and Eucalyptus tree removal in March 2024.

i thought Kauri cant grow in cooler climates but hope they do
