I have been following you from the beginning. I can't tell you how inspiring you have been through the years. I always felt like I had an inner artist but I was not a classical painter nor could I draw, color inside the lines, scrapbook, .. absolutely nothing. I think you get the picture. Then I stumbled upon your videos and I was absolutely convinced that I could do this. I had so much tired furniture in the house. She makes this look easy. I'm going to give it a whirl.... And voila, I am now a chalk painter. I have redone nearly every piece of wood furniture in my house and completely freshened up the look for mere dollars compared to what I would have spent had I bought new. I’m new to chalk painting / furniture flipping and of all the creators I’ve found you’re my favorite. My decorating taste is a combination of modern / boring. My mother was over the top with her dark wood, gold accents, lace, red and black velvet, etc. Now I find myself looking for things to “glam” up. I hobby sculpt and paint & just recently started making stuff for fun rather than what I thought people would like. Turns out there are more creative weirdos than one would expect and some of the stuff I’ve been asked to create are so off the wall crazy it’s been a blast. Now you’ve inspired me to step out of my comfort zone in decor too.

When you begin holding classes I will happily travel from New Mexico to Maine to attend. Such an exciting prospect! Your store is gorgeous! All that hard work has really paid off. I tried a couple samples of Annie Sloan paint & love it but I need to wade through more of my Dixie Belle collection before I switch over. You and Carlos are such an adorable couple. Adding a couple simple guest room style tiny homes to the mix might be a great Air BnB boost to your income. I can only imagine what you would do with them! My piggy bank is filled & waiting for a Kacha class visit & shopping trip.
