After the red gem 4-levels I did a test run and found a build you could try with Lorien, an XP farm build with Time and Mort. (Grab the skills that produce extra XP gems). I grabbed Leigong for the dash to be able to zip around and vacuum up XP gems quickly on demand, (and the strikes). Stack extra attk projectiles, attack speed, and extra XP gain on gear, plus extra bounces on the bow if you can. Build Lorien for attack damage and attack speed in the talent tree. Get extra projectiles and hopefully the 600% first hit damage increase from the fates. DO NOT get more than a couple levels of Force. You want the XP gems to build up into a Red gem as much as possible. Then squat by a 60% XP shrine for a while, letting XP gems build up in a Red gem. Whenever you feel like it, you can tap the XP shrine and grab the red gem and as much of the other gems to level up a LOT. If you're lucky, a magnet pick-up will drop nearby. Testing in Act 1, I waited out the green and blue slime waves, and went from level 14 to level 43 at the 13 minute mark. So it seems like red gems can hold a lot of XP. (Between gear and a harp shrine, I also had 3.2 passive XP that gave me about 4 or 5 levels between slime waves, so without that it might've been lvls 9 to 38.) I even found another XP shrine just before minute 19 and farmed the last skeleton wave for a big red XP gem, closing out the run at lvl 62. Lorien firing 10 projectiles at at rate of 0.1s with 6 bounces goes hard. That's theoretically 600 instances of attack damage occurring per second.
Great video men. I always get to learn new things about the game thanks to you. But thing that confuses me are items. Can you make an updated video about what items are important; what items to store or throw away.
I also have a 1400 dps bow and an 880 dps Nixi weapon. I got these awhile ago now tho and haven't seen anything remotely close in weeks. Stealth nerf or bad luck? Also, someday I will catch up to your present videos, dangit.
does the experience crystal not all get yoinked when you get the magnet? like all the ones you dropped. or does it just boost the pickup range. i kinda liked in vampire survivor that the crystals would begin to absorb into each other and upgrade gems dropping near you to higher value.
I'm honestly not sure how it works, either exp disappears once you get to far away from it ( this is what I think happens) or its more of a pull range buff
You could take an extra second when you get level up options, I feel like you say want something but skip it because you only look at the options for a split second
Lorien is my Nr1 character. I generally love on hit builds in games and Lorien is like a pinnacle of that. E: My Lorien has a lot of +strike proj gear so he just releases a storm of projectiles, i only stay away from shurikens cause i don't wanna crash my game lol.
With that bow, wouldnt sickles of mort be way better? to have so much attack damage and decent strike damage increase + the strike damage increase at max level strikes, sickles will deal so much damage against solo or crowd.. Not to mention that mort also have vampirism and soulstealers. The chain lightinings sadly is for crowd, and crowds only.
Cursed is a status? Also, all the damage effects on gear, do you know what they scale on? Does cdr, cast or strike damage affect them? Also does Lorian crit does strike ignore strike cd except for the lower chance to proc it and if it does taking cdr increase the chance for it to proc again? Also, Lorains dmg bonus to strike and cast at max level I assume works on legendary boons as soon as you take them, right?
So damage effects on gear would depend on the effect. It seems like each effect has it's own category so its more about knowing if the effect is a (power/strike/status..etc). Lorien's talent ignores cd times, you can have MANY hurricanes on screen at once and I believe the dmg bonus talent counts towards legendarys but I haven't tested the numbers.
@@gamingwithjeff Does cdr affect the chance of Loriens talent to proc thou. Seems very hard to test, but I felt like it had an effect and curious how you felt it.
It's mostly just getting a bow with increased attack damage/speed. TBH you really shouldn't focus on the dps of a weapon for its actual effectiveness. It's base damage/attack speed/affix are what matters.
I very much dislike chain lightning. I like single target damage. Especially in this game cuz it’s so easy to do area damage. Not a lot of ppl are doing speed caster Lorien. You basically pour everything into attack speed and cast stats. I have the post a pic of the talent tree and gear in your discord if you’d like, for when ever you circle back to Lorien

Dude, this is awesome, definitely going to try this
Tornadoes is so OP.. loved the build, looks super fun!
Did Darkness 100 with Lorien today. I went full Attack Build with Justice, Krom and Winter. Did pretty well
Skadi status is a cool build with world freeze gahana and melody
You need the gloves that gives abonch of status effects to your attacks and the talent and sickle of Mort to apply them more often

This is my fave build to watch so far!!
We do love some chain lightning
I grew bored of Bask in greatness rather quickly. It's just so broken.
When they inevitably nerf it, the babies will come crying about how they ruined the game.
The scaling on sickles is insane if you combine with earth god strike area.
It really is

Umm maybe, I don't think I've ever seen a bow that high. if it has Max damage and attack speed rolls I could see it
First strike plus fatality plus god of war goes so hard

Yeah, I think Sickles, Earth spike and Tornadoes are the better strike skills.
Vampirism is okay, but really falls off at d100
Any plans on a super garlic build around the Scepter of Rasis? (staff with it own native radiance)
If I ever get the Staff =(
You think the train being blown over in Nebraska by a tornado was crazy look up the train being blown up in Arizona the same day

@@arthena2130 It does not
May have missed it, how are the hurricanes being spammed so much?
Bask in Greatness Talent. It ignores cooldowns
Does lucck increase crit chanse?
It does not
@@gamingwithjeff thank you.
Korien on the index picture fyi
how do i get a bow with insane DPS like that? the ones i find dont even go past 400

super early

I just hate this track in the soundtrack so much... What were they thinking?
Ikr. It sounds good, but its way too repetative compared to the other tracks. I get annoyed by it by rhe 20 minute mark
it's fine, just not quite the banger that Act 1 has
