      Thanks tomtcom. Gem cut for brilliance look better and in my opinion have more value. Gems usually cut for size can often look like a piece of glass.

    "Oh wow..." My reaction on final reveal. What a gorgeous design and brilliance for this quartz! I am a hobbiest mineral collector and am fascinated with the process of how these raw crystals are cut into perfect gems. Love your channel and your style!

    • @VintageTimeGems

      Quartz faceted well really looks good. Amethyst is a quartz and the Rwandan Amethyst that has the rich red and violet blues is very expensive. Some people underestimate the price of certain quartz 's. Even a large natural clear quartz faceted well will be expensive.

    Your talent for creating beautiful gems is truly amazing. Just discovered your channel maybe two months ago and am slowly working my way through your library of videos. You certainly brought out the full character and brilliance of the quartz! Thank you! By the way, I am a big fan of Jaws. Especially in his appearance in the epic "Bond" adventure.

I do have one wish that you might be able to take care of all the legal issues to protect your designs. Then maybe write a book with some of your designs, with tips . Well the other faceting channels don't have the Australian accent, so they can't copy that without sounding weird. the gem looks amazing!😮 wondering if you have done any videos of faceting golden rutilated quartz?

    • @VintageTimeGems
      @VintageTimeGems  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would like to do a video on golden rutilated quartz. It's such a beautiful gem. I may have to try to source some, as I do wish to facet some. I have a clear rutilated quartz, but its not as good as the golden variety. Yes foreigners impersonating a Aussie accent would sound odd. The trouble is there are people out there downloading my videos and uploading them on their channels and re editing them. Mostly Asian's gem companies trying to sell gems and pretending that they are all personally faceted. TH-cam have bots that weed them out and dish out copyright notices. I weeded out a few myself. Cheers
