I wanted to correct myself really quickly- LEGGY dolls are a vintage doll line by Hasbro I’ve been looking at recently… totally slipped when calling these that!! They get labeled “leggy” or “long legs dolls” on European second hand sites a lot! They’re just called “Hi Glamm”

Entomologist Barbie is pretty pricey on eBay, so $12 was a deal.
About a month ago, on Dorie’s Dollies channel, she shows her collection of 1972 Leggy dolls from Hasbro. She mentions the name of the designer at MGA who paid tribute to with the Glam dolls. It is very interesting. Dorie knows her dolls.
I felt that being judged at Once Upon a Child comment. The one in Winston-Salem was hands down the worst place I've ever been judged for buying dolls. The one in Wilmington was fine though. Some stores just have judgy vibes I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My Value Village had a huge section of Dolls, and there was no Made To Move Barbie. However, I did find a 2015 Ken Fashionista fully dressed, which is awesome.

Great haul! I collect Hannah Montana dolls myself despite having not seen the show either, and I would've bought every one I saw xD They're pretty ood quality, but their faces are pretty strange for most people xD I don't blame you about the Once Upon/Kid to Kid awkwardness, but nowadays I just walk in with pride and determination and look for what I'm looking for without trying to focus on the others. If somebody *were* to ask, I'd say I'm finding a gift for one of my nieces or the like.
The clothes are phenomenal with the Hannah Montana dolls! I have a friend who likes them so I just gather them to send them to him since he’ll love them more!
I am very confident and do not care but the entire vibe there was so off
That Bratz tin/bag is super duper cute!! The artwork matches perfectly with the end of the original run of Bratz, so 2008/2009! I had bedding that matched perfectly with the artwork of Yasmin and background but in pink ahah
Also, SUPER jealous of the Barbie movie girlies as usual lol

Hi I am so excited that you found Ivy! I have her too and her hair is the same length as yours. I do have a Melody that seems to have longer hair than most. I think she is extra pretty. I’m glad you are getting into American girl dolls again! I also have other doll interests but I always come back to them. Fun video!

OH MY GOD HI GLAMM I KNOW IT!!! I had that one as a kid and i loved her so much!! It was a different release of the black haired character, it was like a boutique set and she came with a bunch of different types of socks. I have no idea where she ended up, i don't think i donated her but i have no idea where she went

The redhead I believe is a 90s lovely patsy brand Ariel I think it came as a set with jasmine belle Cinderella and sleeping beauty. Also I too have a cat figurine collection which includes cat figure toys.

the little black girl figure with puffs (at 18:21), i know i've seen the brand before they had both figures and dolls, and it was a line promoting diversity i thought they were really cool, but i completely forgot their names and i couldnt find them searching just now, if anyone knows that'd be so cool
There was a line of Leggy dolls by Hasbro in the 70s. I have one from my childhood. Love yours! I’d like to have some from the newer line.

I found the Barbie irish setter today and a vintage ( 60s or 70s) Barbie in somewhat baity condition. Found a monster high. It Also found a My little pony plushie at my local thrift store. I literally came across a whole bag full of Barbie but just picked the few i wanted due to space constraints. All for $3 ( fill a box)
I have Nellie she has her outfit, tights, shoes, bow her little bag. I don’t have her hat or necklace but I made her a necklace

Those HiGlamm dolls give really similar vibes to the "new" Winx giochi preziosi dolls based on the faces and bodies.I also think the outfits look something Winx-esque.
Now I'm kinda curious how'd thwy look with clothes from other brands but probably those legs will be hard to find any clothes to fit😂

I totally understand that Once Upon A Child is like the worse place tbh, where I live the only good thing I found was a cool Barbie and a Princess and the Popstar playset (which haunts me that i didn't get) other than that its mostly baby toys and generic Barbies (also fakies). I have found a couple books there (I like to collect children's books (and read them ofc) cuz I think they're really cool to me, anyways, but I had to stop because I uh- ran out of room (I have a problem 😭). But that's really it, I haven't been there in a while so I might check but I probably won't go there much anymore. Also why does 20:12 look like Ariel to me? Am I just being dumb or?? I also totally understand not collecting Lalaloopsy's, there huge, I have I think 3 (maybe 4, I'm recalling off the top of my head) and they do take up a lot of space, I sit mine in the floor though and honestly it helps with the space issue for me (like against shelfs, on the sides of dollhouses, etc.) at least, I know what works for me ofc doesn't work for everyone. Also, you've convinced me I need "Hi Glamm" dolls, how dare you. So cute. Anyways, so happy for all your finds and Happy Holidays if you celebrate! :)
