i totally get what you mean by just "being" in paris. i got back from Spain from my first month long solo trip and it was amazing. i feel like i found a home away from home. you should definitely spend more time there. truly was life changing.

I only ever fly to paris with carry ons to avoid this. I've heard similar trends with a lot of friends who always lose their luggage.

Just an idea but what if you rent an Airbnb during like December (winter) or April (spring) for a month, and until then save money and learn French for when you do go.

So sorry this happened to you Paige! I was in Amsterdam last year and my bag was lost for 12 hours and I had to stay 2 days there which cut into my Italy trip 🙃 let me tell ya.. most stressful day EVER , I held it together but eventually cried in the corner and called my parents 😂
I went to the UK and Paris last month. Flew with American Airlines from Boston and had the worst experience as well !!! Never again when I travel internationally
