Just bought them from cycle gear for my 30k. I'm less than impressed for the 97$ they cost me. Yes the clarity and bass are better but they seem to have the same max output. Still can't hear shit on the freeway.
I bought cardo jbl speakers for sena 30k . The volume is less than the stock speakers,I have done all the upgrades and they seem to not work fo me,or am I missing something??
I’m going to be honest I upgraded from the stock 32mm to the 45 mm jbl and the reason I did was because one of my speakers broke but honestly it got louder and more bass but I expected a clearer sound but I guess what do you expect from speakers that look like they’re from 2004 that you would pair with a Walkman
I have been less than impressed with my Sena 20S. I have a good deal of wind noise on several of my motorcycles and I value my hearing. Before the Sena, I used a wired setup with a Mixit 2 amplifier and ear plugs to combat the wind noise. The only problem was nearly strangling myself Everytime I got off the bike. My intention was to do the same with the Sena wirelessly, but the volume cannot overcome the earplugs. I have tried molded earplugs with speakers in them and they work until the earplugs won't fit in my ears with a lot of extra wire because the earplugs have to go in my ears before the helmet goes on. I may have to try these speakers. I may have to ditch the Sena altogether and go back to the wire.
If I only want to listen to music when I ride, could I simply buy these speakers and plug them directly in my phone wich is always in my jacket inside pocket?! I dont really need a communication system since I ride alone 95% of the time.
Yeah, but it sure is nice when you can tell your system to increase the volume...bring up google maps...locate the closest gas station...change the song playing...heat your coffee...
I don't think these are worth the cost if you already have the 40's. Just make sure you have the sound levels properly adjusted. When I first bought my 40mm JBL's I was not happy with the sound. Then I tweaked all my audio settings, including the equalizer and now it blows me away, gotta turn it down cause it's too loud sometimes. I would definitely upgrade if I didn't have the JBL's already.
@@AnthonyMooreIsTerrible: The audio settings/levels for the bike, the phone, The Cardo App. All of them! Just search around, you'll run into them. I recently bought another helmet but got the 45mm's for it, cause I had a choice this time. I don't notice much of a difference between the 2 helmets. And if you're playing music from your phone, Turn the 'phones' volume up as high as possible. I have noticed that it is a game of balancing all the systems to achieve maximum output. The equalizers I was talking about are included in certain apps like Amazon, music center...
I agree, mine are so dang loud if I have it maxed and I get people we ride with that we all just got the cardo 4x systems....that say they are super quiet. But I just cant have mine all the way up or it's crazy loud! The main issue I have so far, is even with tweaking the settings, when I'm riding with others and connected to them, I have to have my music turned all the way up to hear them. There is a section in the settings to turn music down and intercom up, but mine just doesn't seem to care lol, either I have the music all the way up to hear people when they talk, or not. Do you have this issue?
The spirit hd speakers suck man there's no bass to it like at all I listen to edm techno house metal u just don't feel the kick in any bass heavy songs its all treble
Thanks Morgan Freeman
JBL,s are good i here the clarity

Then you need a better helmet/ windscreen. Any louder and you'll ruin your ears!!!

If you already have the 40's no!

So? What is the verdict? Are the 45mm worth the upgrade over the 40mm? Thanks
If you already have the 40's no!
Nah i just bought the cardo black edition with 45mm jbl and the sound is not that great very disappointed with the jbl totally not worth the money

Cardo or Sena? Thanks.
Cardo
WHAT IS THE THICKNESS OF THIS SPEAKERS BRO ?^
So, is it better or not? :P
Did you install the microphone
I just got a new helmet and I was wondering if the 45mms would be a worthwhile upgrade, I think I'll save my money and use my old 40mms
Are these a lot larger?!...
Hello sr. What speaker you recomende me for headsets gold playstation 4 i think by far 35 mm they using
Thank you Brother, I've just bought the Cardo Spirit and will now be getting these to compliment the unit. Seems to be the way forward :D Be safe

Yes
@@MattyM110 but I ain't sure the wire would be long enough to join my phone 1 feet away. 🤔

Dunno why anyone bothers with these. Use a set of earbuds. Perfect. Block outside noise and perfect audio.
Would love to see you use voice commands and do voicecalls on your earbuds :)
@@TheKidLAROI. earbuds are for hearing. The mic doesn’t get taken away. You just replace the garbage speakers with noise isolating earbuds.
They are far superior to any helmet speakers I’ve used so far and have literally no ill effect on voice commands or phone calls. Why would they?
You can't put this on Sena unit, connection is diferent !
Well, I wouldn't say a lot larger, but they are larger.
CAN YOU EVER MEASURE THE THICKNESS? THET'S IMPORTANT!!!
Always is eh
