These products are not necessarily ingredient dupes of each other but do very similar things for the skin. I hope this comparison was helpful. Please subscribe if you are new :)

I love Paula’s Choice, but as an objective observer, I would think the COSRX is probably the better choice for someone who is either trying to save some $$ (it is currently $15.85 on Walmart’s website with either free pickup in store or free delivery if you spend over $35.) Or the COSRX would be the better choice if you are trying to simplify your skincare routine since it already has the niacinamide in it and you don’t need a 2nd product. The Paula’s Choice would probably be better for someone specific on the feel of the product or if you are a Paula’s Choice fan and are already purchasing from them. Personally I am already using the Resist, but I will try the COSRX when I run out of my Paula’s Choice because of the cost savings and to get more niacinamide in my routine. Thanks for another great review and introduction to a new product in COSRX.

Alexa Lou for mature skin, do
you think brands like Paula’s Choice or Clarins will be stronger than K-Beauty? I am turning 48 soon and I am trusting to prevent further loss of firmness as well as aging sport etc.. thank you!!

Valeska Silva I don’t think brand really matters, just the ingredients and how your skin reacts to them. I personally do some research online/TH-cam on what I want a product to accomplish (IE I have some deeper forehead wrinkles, under eye wrinkles, am trying to improve my skin texture and I’m trying to get rid of blackheads.) and then buy a product to try it. I don’t go for the most expensive but try a more middle of the road/budget product first. But I think reviews tell a lot and then you just have to see if you notice a difference. I love watching Melanie (Mr. Kongs Mom) here, but she does like a lot of high end products (but some that are more budget), I also watch HotandFlashy on YT (she’s in her 50’s and I’m 42) and she gives both high end and budget products, she also does a lot on the ingredients and what they do.

Paula's choice leaves an oily residue on my face while Cosrx absorbs easily & doesn't leave any residue. Cosrx is cheaper & a much better product than Paula's Choice.

I’ve been using the PC bha for more than a decade! It made such a difference in my skin and is the workhorse of my skincare routine... I’d normally be very nervous to drop it for the cosrx version. After seeing your video on the cosrx snail mucin, I did pick it up and have been pleased with it. Only you could even get me to possibly consider trying the cosrx bha... I might pick it up and try it out. Great video!!!!

Paula’s Choice BHA 2% really helped my skin in a big way. It kept my acne at bay and my complexion more even given that I have chronic skin conditions i.e. seborrheic dermatitis and mild rosacea. My only complaint though is it’s drying effect on the skin the next morning after applying it . It was bothersome. My skin would look like it was stripped off of moisture despite me using moisturizer after putting it on. I ordered the COSRX one and will give it a shot since I read online that the formula is not as drying as PC’s version.

I love the Snail Essence!! I’ve been watching your older videos because I knew you loved Paula’s Choice and I am very interested in the products. I bought a trial size of the retinol treatment and BHA liquid Exfoliant. I’ve been using Retin A for a while so the retinol is not a problem. I guess my question is just starting out what products do you think I should start with? I’m really late to the game with Paula’s Choice, but I’ve been taking care of my skin just with other products. I’m 55 so I probably need more products than you!!😳
