Well, the original idea of bulleet journaling was made to save time. It doesn't need to be so artistic at all!!! It's my third year bullet jounaling (is that even a word?) and the time I put in depends on what I need and how much time I have. Sometimes I (try to) make really beautiful spreads that take a lot of time and sometimes I just write the dates for my calendar and simple titles for my notes and lists. Be free to do wathever you want and like and remember, that it doesn't need to be perfect!

She could do but don’t forget it will depend on which notebook you’re using, some notebooks have a little more dots than others and that will make the grid cheat slightly different.

This is so cool to see how much your artistic style has changed since your first bullet journal video! I have an idea for a theme and because I cannot draw to save my life, I thought I'd try to articulate it for you... good luck deciphering this. I wanted to make a monthly theme of a map, but like an old style fantasy book kind of map. What pops into my head are the maps in the LOTR books at the beginning and also the Marauder's Map, but I'm sure there are more that would be good too!

This is beautiful! I got a black dotted Leuchtturm last year so I could "bujo" for the first time this year, and your videos have really inspired me a lot. I'm finally trying to start setting my journal up, and doing my best not to get overwhelmed. I am a little overwhelmed by the idea of doing the grid spacing cheat sheet, oddly enough. Personally, I feel like I'd have to count the spaces/dots anyway due to the varying ideas I'd have. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. Since I'm a first-timer at this, maybe I'll opt not to do a cheat sheet so that I can learn this from the basics. My fiancé and I already have a bunch of art supplies, so I'm excited. Flair pens, Gelly Rolls, Mildliners, Staedtler fine points, Tombow dual-tips (full set) and Fudenosuke 2pk... etcetera. Art is amazing. I am failing HARD at using the Tombow stuff, which is stressful for me, because I really want to be a pro at the different types of lettering done with them. Usually I'm better at other types of creative lettering. Anyway, sorry for rambling so much. Thank you for the inspiration, Amanda!
i started a bullet journal recently for january, and while doing the calendar, i forgot thursday existed, wrote wednesday instead of march and messed up may so decided she’s cancelled. a great start
I could never keep up with a conventional bullet journal so rather than planning my daily or weekly, I now use it when I have an upcoming event or a particularly busy period of time, and now my bullet journal is more of an asset than a nuisance.
I got my first bullet journal recently and set it up for the year and January stuff. I'm not the best at drawing but I think I did ok for my first go at it. I'm so excited about it!

I don’t know who this might help,but for those who use the Scribbles that Matter bullet journal, there’s a marking that shows you where half of the book is. It’s a dash instead of a dot grid. Hoped this helped somebody.

I'm not and don't think I ever will be the type of person to make a bullet journal or for that matter even commit to it, but that still doesn't stop me from watching your videos! I am quite an artsy person and your videos give me inspiration and actually got me into lettering and experimenting with different fonts etc so thank you for that and btw these are hella satisfying to watch aha :) Idk why but they just calm me and your voice is so soothing. Rainbow is my idea for 2020 just make the whole thing pop. The colors of the rainbow always make me happy!

This is beautiful! I got a black dotted Leuchtturm last year so I could "bujo" for the first time this year, and your videos have really inspired me a lot. I'm finally trying to start setting my journal up, and doing my best not to get overwhelmed. I am a little overwhelmed by the idea of doing the grid spacing cheat sheet, oddly enough. Personally, I feel like I'd have to count the spaces/dots anyway due to the varying ideas I'd have. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. Since I'm a first-timer at this, maybe I'll opt not to do a cheat sheet so that I can learn this from the basics.
My fiancé and I already have a bunch of art supplies, so I'm excited. Flair pens, Gelly Rolls, Mildliners, Staedtler fine points, Tombow dual-tips (full set) and Fudenosuke 2pk... etcetera. Art is amazing. I am failing HARD at using the Tombow stuff, which is stressful for me, because I really want to be a pro at the different types of lettering done with them. Usually I'm better at other types of creative lettering. Anyway, sorry for rambling so much. Thank you for the inspiration, Amanda!
i started a bullet journal recently for january, and while doing the calendar, i forgot thursday existed, wrote wednesday instead of march and messed up may so decided she’s cancelled. a great start

I could never keep up with a conventional bullet journal so rather than planning my daily or weekly, I now use it when I have an upcoming event or a particularly busy period of time, and now my bullet journal is more of an asset than a nuisance.

I got my first bullet journal recently and set it up for the year and January stuff. I'm not the best at drawing but I think I did ok for my first go at it. I'm so excited about it!

I don’t know who this might help,but for those who use the Scribbles that Matter bullet journal, there’s a marking that shows you where half of the book is. It’s a dash instead of a dot grid. Hoped this helped somebody.
