It would have worked if Nurse was alive and still hidden, but nurse was dead, so in her mind she should fly as low as she can to gain a ally or figure out the other mob.If nurse was alive Geo could say "I'm cop, he's mob. Kill him and protect me nurse." and from there she's given at least one more round to figure out who is who and build allies with known civilians

If you reveal the identity, then you start playing the elimination game (saying: "Tiff was a nurse, so now we're fucked" or "Oh so Geo was cop, so there are still 2 mafia left"). Instead, when you vote someone out and you still won't know who that person really is, people may still be misled into thinking the person they eliminated was a mafia, and they will never know until the end of the game which changes the whole direction and dynamics of the game. 2. The cop at night then has the choice to pick out who they think is mafia OR they can ask narrator to identify who a dead person is. That way, one, as a cop, you have choice to either progress through game by targeting someone already alive, or you can answer previous question and investigate a dead person's identity. Cool right?

Guys... once the Mafia-to-Civilian ratio is equal, the game is over. The only way the Civilians still have a chance at winning is if one of the Mafia votes with the Civilians and agrees to kill one of their own (which, ironically enough, happened this game when Julia weirdly voted to put herself back into the minority). Otherwise, the Civilians don't have enough votes to kill anyone, and they get picked off one by one until none are left. After Josh is killed, Tommy and Julia win. The last 9 minutes of the video were pointless. :/

The way my friends and I played MAFIA was when the cop correctly picks the mafia during the night, the 'next day' the narrator said something like "in the middle of the shooting, cop was at the scene and managed to kill the mafia" and boom Tommy would've died there and then. But then the way we played we don't reveal the identity when someone dies. E.g. Tommy and Tiff dead, and no one knows how many mafia there was. Edit: Nvm, I think I remembered it wrong. it's just players don't reveal their roles when they die. Cop only gets the nod by the narrator if he chose the correct mafia.

You guys should play Ultimate Werewolf. It's exactly like Mafia but it comes with a lot of unique roles so no one is stuck as the civilian with nothing to do and no information, everyone can take part and do a special action. There's also One Night Ultimate Werewolf which is shorter and everyone gets to play so you don't need one person to act as the moderator. And again there's a lot of different roles that you can use, so no one gets stuck as a Civilian with nothing to do, you can use other roles so that everyone get to do something in the round. Guys... once the Mafia-to-Civilian ratio is equal, the game is over. The only way the Civilians still have a chance at winning is if one of the Mafia votes with the Civilians and agrees to kill one of their own (which, ironically enough, happened this game when Julia weirdly voted to put herself back into the minority). Otherwise, the Civilians don't have enough votes to kill anyone, and they get picked off one by one until none are left.
After Josh is killed, Tommy and Julia win. The last 9 minutes of the video were pointless. :/

The way my friends and I played MAFIA was when the cop correctly picks the mafia during the night, the 'next day' the narrator said something like "in the middle of the shooting, cop was at the scene and managed to kill the mafia" and boom Tommy would've died there and then. But then the way we played we don't reveal the identity when someone dies. E.g. Tommy and Tiff dead, and no one knows how many mafia there was.
Edit: Nvm, I think I remembered it wrong. it's just players don't reveal their roles when they die. Cop only gets the nod by the narrator if he chose the correct mafia.
Just to mention another different variation.

You guys should play Ultimate Werewolf. It's exactly like Mafia but it comes with a lot of unique roles so no one is stuck as the civilian with nothing to do and no information, everyone can take part and do a special action.
There's also One Night Ultimate Werewolf which is shorter and everyone gets to play so you don't need one person to act as the moderator. And again there's a lot of different roles that you can use, so no one gets stuck as a Civilian with nothing to do, you can use other roles so that everyone get to do something in the round. someone please explain gina that hearing things is NOT how the game works. usually the time where everyone sleeps should be a time where nobody knows anything thats why bart or the host is walking around making sounds.

Ya'll are concentrating on geo, but I was on tommy. He seemed more angry than her. She was just tryna be stern; cause she was right and at least had a bit of proof.

I really adore Geo, but she was really disrespectful here, yes they are your friends and this game is all about defending yourself, but you dont have to be rude to defend yourself..
