His offensive bag is elite and seems endless sometimes even at his current age. i can only imagine how good he’ll be offensively once he’s at his absolute best, that being said the defensive instincts aren’t there he watches the ball alot and with his height and length he could easily be disrupting shots and getting weak side blocks and even disrupting the lanes a bit, it seems lazy but hes young and can only go up from here gil is doing a amazing job as a mentor/father as well keeping him on the right path to success. i cant wait to see Alijah in the league hats off to gil and alijah hes a beast and so was his father in his prime.
Alijah's defensive instincts are atrocious, but his offense is elite. Hopefully it won't hinder him at the next level. With his height advantage, he should be getting so many help-side blocks but he plays really lazy on defense - a lot of ball watching.
@@XPXhumble i think alijah is really good but just bc you get buckets on nba players especially in 1v1 isn’t really a special thing. if you an elite scorer you can score on anyone no matter the level ur at for example a bunch of d2-d3 players could prob score on nba players too. i think he is gonna be good in the nba but 1v1 is not a good indicator of that. look at bronny he was scoring on nba players and now in an actual nba game he can’t score a bucket
@@jacaryyoung1114Alijah was scoring 30-40pts in aau against top ranked players. Got to learn defensive fundamentals and how to get his teammates involved. It’s a team sport. He is gifted.
