Hi Maia!! Thank you. That's a thing I did about 8 ish years ago and before that about 30 years ago... Of course 30 years ago I had more energy and took my backpack of stuff and traveled the world. It is very freeing, but most people think I'm crazy... I just know that I had very free-thinking parents... And hence, I am open to other ways of living... But, I am super glad it's done, my brain doesn't work in chaos. Happy coloring dear. 🤍🖖👽

I started organizing my books by author but now switch to organizing by theme, like the supplies are organized by kind (like you did yours) It doesn’t look as pretty as organized by author but so far so good.
Of course I loved the Star Wars chopsticks. My student gave me a Star Wars glass. It’s were I keep my fluorescent pens. 😊

I think your room looks great! I can't wait to move, and have my own space! Right now all of my stuff is in two tall book shelves. When I color I take what I need to the kitchen table. Its a pain,but I enjoy coloring to much. Nice job on your room. The way you have it looks great.

Sometimes I'm like... Grrrr. I was at my most minimal and then... I discovered coloring. 🙄 So, on the one hand, I'm like this is amazing and literally saved my life. But, one the other hand - sooooo much stuff. 🤷🙅🤦 Life ebbs and flows... The rest of life, pretty dang minimal. So, I guess it all balances out? Maybe? 🤍🖖👽

You did a great job on your space!❤ so organized and you have inspired me to “declutter & purge” I just have way too much supplies that are not being used. Oh I also have several back up sets of Prisma pencils lol. I justify buying them by saying one day they may stop selling them or I say I will have all I need by the time I stop working and have to limit my expensive shopping sprees lol. Lol. That's a good prisma plan. 🤣🤣. I am not as big of a supply shopper as I am of coloring books. I really don't like much but the prismas, so that's easy. Same with gel pens, there are just a few that I like... Good luck with your declutter and purge. I did it over and over for years until I got down to just a car load of stuff.... and then.... I discovered coloring. 🙄. But, it feels wonderful to let it go. Like a weight is lifted off of you. 🏋️♂️🤍🖖👽

7:52 these book shelves… or the 4 shelves and you removed 2 of the shelves on the ones in the middle? I never thought to lay them down the way you did in the first case. I like that look! I have so many and I guess I would have to put them in a way that I could get the most space. Ok back to the video😂 if I don’t stop and ask I forget my question lol
Hi Shelly!! Thank you. Each bookshelf came with 3 shelves, I just (after much trial and error) settled on this configuration for maximum use of space. Since they are kind of modular - it works for now. 🤍🖖👽
How do you choose what to color next when you have so many books?
Something usually inspires me. Like: a picture of something, a picture of art, a color, a technique, or a medium, other coloring videos, the running list in my head of pictures in each book that I want to do.... Not all of my books are for coloring in. Some are investment items. Some are just beautiful to look at. 🤍🖖👽
