I find this really inspiring my brothers getting married next year and I've recently started my transition. It's really tough right now and he's not sure if he wants me there now. I feel like I want to go and support him so I hope he changes his mind this gives me some hope. :) xx

It's strange for brothers I think as generally my experience is that women find the whole process easier to come to terms with. Hi! First of all, this may be a bit of a culture shock moment, but what exactly does "downing a pint" involve? Well a half in your case I suppose :) What's this about putting it on your head? This is coming from an American who had to look up "Stag Do" Anyway, kind of along the same theme of "being with the guys" I remember in high school, whenever there would be a dance, all of the guys and girls would get together before hand separately and I was always kind of aching to be with the girls. At the time I didn't see it for what it was and thought that this just confirmed my "straight male" identity. I'm older and slightly wiser now and realize that many of my feelings towards women back then were actually jealousy and had little to do with sex in many cases. Cheers!
+Al Malmsten Downing a pint (or any drink) means drinking it very quickly in one go without stopping. It's a challenge really, and generally happens with v drunk people, and they sometimes put it on their head upside down afterwards to show it's all gone - like serious man bonding stuff. Stag do = bachelor party (or hen for ladies, or sten which is a modern thing where you combine and have girls and guys).A quick lesson in English drinking culture for you there ;D
+a Girl for all seasons thanks this may seem random, but did you find that alcohol affected the hormones at all? I don't drink much these days anyway but it's something I should keep in mind if I ever get invited to a 'stag do' and need to 'down' a pint ;)
The other way round really, I find that I can't drink anywhere near the amount that I used to be able to (although I sometimes forget that.... ouch). I don't honestly know if it's because I drink less and I drink halves or whether it's to do with the amount of muscle/physical body mass, or my hormones or a combination of everything. But as a gauge if I drank 4 pints before, I now feel the same after drinking 4 halves - so I'd say my resistance has gone down by around 50%

You are so beautiful. How long have you been on hormones now ?? As im just starting my transition and hope to be as half as pretty as you.
