- In part 2 of my trade acquisition, I button up the loose ends of this tractor which has been one of the easiest recent projects.
I change the oil, level the mower deck, clean the nikki carburetor, adjust the choke and throttle linkages, cleaned the fuel mixture screw, added a gravity fed fuel filter and fuel shut off valve, fixed the headlights, cut off the fuel solenoid valve which was seized and wiped the whole thing down with ATF as well as remove a stubborn sticker with goof off!
This lawn tractor is now ready for sale after I replace the battery which is very weak.

Henry you dropped your governor tension spring under the mower, And i didn't see you put it back on. I had to give up cleaning my nikki carb, And just replace the whole thing. For some reason the needle never wants to seat properly on the old one.
Really, it’s on there! Can you tell me at what time in the video you saw that?Maybe your needle is too short! There are a few types. New Nikki copy is only $15
They make devices that stop your dog from barking by creating a sound the dog doesn't like and only they can hear it. Dogitec made one that looked like a bird house. I used it o. My neighbors dogs. Bark activated.

looks good bro with that atf i am gonna do it on the craftsman yt3000 after i get the pulley squared away on it and before i put on the deck , glad it only took 2 episodes on this murray tractor. oh i like the ending very awesome!
Took me forever to edit...lol. But I learn something new for episodes everyday.
@@MowersNBlowers yeah I'm trying to find different editing techniques to try to add my logo and all this stuff down but not finding good programs to try but I mostly edited my stuff on the computer and plus I try to find free programs on at the pay anything because I'm cheap LOL

Yo, I know you hate the fuel solenoids but....it was stuck open,right? Gas in the crankcase? Coincidence? Nope. Gonna keep happening unless you put in a shutoff.
Or if your carb is clean, needle should seat.
Mine runs for 2 mins and then dies… and tips on what I can do to fix it?

Fuel solenoide should be grounded for testing purposes
It was grounded... it was seized, rusted in the solenoid
the carb solenoid has nothing to do with gas in the crank case.
WRONG!!!
fuel solenoid valve seized in the retracted position, allowing fuel to trickle up the emulsion tube seeping through the unseated needle, flooding the carb, trickling into the crankcase.
My fuel solenoid was seized, therefore completely useless. If it was seized in the extended mode, you wouldnt be able to start the engine. Fuel solenoids are USELESS!
I have been working on small engines over 60 years , The carb solenoid has nothing to do with gas in the crank case.@@MowersNBlowers
@@MowersNBlowers you are both right. Fuel seat was not closing if it was the engine wouldn't flood and if valve solenoid was working it wouldn't have flooded
Jerome Cook then you’ve been lucky to have never had this happen in 60 years. Just like you’ve never seen a 4 bolt engine mount on a push mower in 60!years but I’ve shown you 3 videos with 4 bolt engine mount push mowers! If it did not have a fuel solenoid, it would need a fuel shut off. Because there is a fuel solenoid, there isn’t one. If the solenoid seizes, fuel trickles into the carb and into the crankcase, that is Most definitely something TO DO WITH IT! Not nothing to do with it! Have you been this close minded and stubborn the entire 60 years?
