    I really appreciate your effort and the assistance you provide. I have a question and I would really and truly appreciate it if you respond. It means a lot to me. Are you allowed to go through lasic eye surgery? I'm skeptical if I should go through surgery or not.

    Hi., to be a cabin crew is one of my dreams. I have done full medical check up several times for my job. When it comes to ishihara test after 4 to 5 pages it's difficult for me to identify the objects and numbers. But i don't have any problem by reading, distance vision and identifying colors by its own. Is there any chances that i can get in.🙏🙏

    Hi Julia. Thank you for providing the lovely information. I would like to inform you that I had a very small hole(not exactly tear) generating on my retina(of right eye only) but I had a barrage laser done in that eye to stop the hole from progressing into a tear. I have 20/20 vision with spectacles. Is there going to be an issue once I reach Doha after getting selected?

    • @excrewnextcrew
      @excrewnextcrew  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is it visible the hole?

    • @Itisrealtalk
      @Itisrealtalk 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@excrewnextcrew Hi Julia, It is on the retina of the eye. So, if in Doha they test my eye without dilating my pupil then it will not be visible to them at all.

    Hii julia Your videos are amazing and very informative. I was about to join QR on 15 March but unfortunately they mailed me that because of covid -19 . They cannot proceed further with my on boarding process. Could you please tell me if I still have a chance to be in Doha. Thank you in advance.

      Sara, I fly often on many different airlines and I'm seeing more and more flight attendants wearing glasses. I'm an optician so I can easily tell in the flight attendants are wearing strong glasses are rather weak glasses. Most seem to be wearing weak glasses which i'm always glad to see. I can totally understand why they choose to wear glasses rather than contacts. Mainly due to the air conditioning bothering their eyes wearing contacts. My fear is with those that are wearing stronger glasses. In the event of an emergency landing if that flight attendants glasses were toy get knocked off her face or broken I doubt that she or her would be able to see well enough to help me off the plane and she or he would require assistants themselves getting off. The ones wearing weaker glasses I'm sure would be able to well enough without their glasses. So Sara, I have to ask you, how well are you able to see without glasses? Would you be able to help passengers get off of a burning plane without your glasses? Remember the odds are that in a crash your glasses are very likely to either get knocked off or broken on impact.

    I just have one question my vision in one eye is very short in the other eye i have an excellent vision is that a problem ? Baisacley i have 4/10 (it mean 20/100) in the left eye and 10/10 (it's mean 20/20) in the right one is this a problème ?

      I believe it's the two eyes

    • @soundmanpt
      @soundmanpt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chicharito8960 As an optician even though your eyesight is what we consider as being perfect in your right eye you should still be wearing glasses fulltime because your eyesight in your left isn't at all close to being perfect. So you're constantly straining your right eye in order to see clearly. Your really not seeing anything with your left eye. So by wearing glasses to give your left eye 20/20 vision you will be taking the strain away from your right eye. So if you're not already wearing glasses, you should be.

    Please guide us on what medical tests are asked during process and what more are done after being there at Doha Qatar.
    Only blood tests? but Which one? or the body scans also like CT or X-ray, ultrasound extra....

    • @soundmanpt
      @soundmanpt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are only considered as being in the weak / mild range. But that certainly doesn't mean you don't need to be wearing glasses. In fact it's rather normal that most people start wearing their glasses fulltime at -1.25 or -1.50. So if you were a flight attendant on a plane I was a passenger on I wouldn't have any fear of you not being able to assist me in getting off the plane in an emergency if you were to have your glasses get knocked off or broken. I'm sure you would still be able to see well enough to help me and other get off the plane without your glasses.
