I love this approach to fashion! I follow several other fashion “influencers” who’ve chosen to take a slow approach to shopping and creating their style as your video also suggests. It’s better for the planet and possibly our pocketbooks. I realize now that the French and Italians and maybe Brits have done this for a long time. Using art as an influence in colour palate makes a lot of sense as artists are true masters of colour and texture.
Hi could you recommend some influencers with a slow approach that you like? I would really appreciate following someone with a really unique style instead of fast-fashion trends… honestly so many influencers now are promoting unhealthy consumerism instead I mean it’s crazy
Love, love, love this episode! As an American who has never been to Paris, I find these so helpful in dressing simple, chic, timeless and elegant. Thank you!
So glad to see the face behind the channel!! Thank you so much for bringing us such fabulous content!! I have loved everything French since I was 12 years old. And I have only been able to visit once, but my heart is always in Paris!! ParisianVibe gives me so much inspiration and joy every week!! Thank you ❤❤
Thank you for this superb lesson on using inspiration from beautiful paintings to create perfect seasonal outfits. Also enjoyed the drama of the Greek myth and discussion of the cycle of the seasons.
Thank you, Kimberly. We absolutely fell in love with this treasure we sourced in Paris while preparing for the episode. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, we couldn't find anything exactly similar, so we listed what we could find in the spirit of short coats.
This is what styling is all about! Such a great episode with an elegant touch of art, mythology, fashion, and style. Love it, merci beaucoup @ParisianVibe. ;)
Excellent episode! I love this way of treating fashion as a part of art! Very interesting conversation about autumn, art and balanced fashion! Thank you!
I really enjoyed this video. This artistic perspective is interesting and ties nicely into the use of a mood board. It also provides a great way to find some inspiration when approaching our own closets.
Loved this video! I found I can recreate every one of these looks to some extent with pieces already in my closet. I loved the art inspirations chosen for this also.
I loved this video, its relationship with art and fashion and how we can be inspired by beauty is one of my favorite topics, best regards from Colombia
Such a cool video concept! While I agree that compared to the art pieces, the outfits are more on the safe side, the outfits were still so classy, thoughtful and interesting to look at! Great job!
This is such a great video, love the inspiration and choice of items! Also very interesting to learn about the team behind Parisian Vibe. Does anyone know where Viktoria's blouse is from? It's so lovely!
I love the channel but I must say that I thought the outfits would be more creative. I know French style is more subdued and elegant but this still could have been more creative . ❤ Upon reading the other comments I see it is just myself who feels this way . Perhaps it is because I am an artist.
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts with us! For us, creativity and discovering personal style are unique and precious once found, as they require understanding oneself, your interests, and your body. You can see it as a lifelong work. While making this episode, we often returned to the idea of timelessness and the words that art evoked in us as we explored some of the masterpieces created by icons from different decades, and the philosophy behind them. Thinking about shapes, materials, combinations, the vibe, and the silhouette was our way of 'being creative.' Creativity doesn’t need to be loud when it is rich in meaning? And this meaning, like art, can be interpreted differently by different people.
I cant fathom why some say the outfits are boring. Perhaps those who like trendy pieces in the hope of seeking attention? I personally like simple yet chic fashion like what was shown in this video 😊
The art you took inspiration from was beautiful, the outfits not that much. They were extremely boring, absolutely nothing creative or artistic about them.
agreed. the outfits are all variations of the same exact thing, in the same color pallette, and the art connection seems like a forced afterthought. all these positive comments are sending me.
Very inspiring dialogue and such a sophisticated, poetic and elegant approach to fashion! With regards to the myth, the original is the Greek one with the main character being called Persefoni, the rest of the information was accurate 😊
Do you really want to spend your life grumping on the socials? If you find those looks boring, why bother looking? There must be a kardashian channel you can follow. Elan is not for everyone.
While I love the idea of this video, it’s disappointing to see such an interesting myth told completely wrong. Persephone (pronounced Purse-seph-own-knee) was kidnapped and raped by Hades, her uncle. While with him in the Underworld she ate several pomegranate seeds after being warned not to eat or drink anything. The number of seeds corresponded to the amount of time she was forced to spend with him in the Underworld and away from her mother Demeter, the goddess of agriculture. Hades is not her brother, there was no hand shake. You are correct that the sadness Demeter felt is related to winter but her pain was in defiance of Zeus, she was so besides herself with grief that she could not bring herself to make the Earth plentiful, the crops withered and died only to bloom again when she was reunited with her daughter.
Apart from the first look I think they all are aging that model. Particularly the skirt look - made her look decades older. Imagine a twenty something wears that, standing next to someone in contemporary fashion. I’d feel awkward
Thank you for watching. Finding your personal style is key. We have the aesthetic we love and thus curate the wardrobe accordingly and invite the guests with the same outlook.

Love this new format of mixing fashion and art inspiration!
Bonus point for learning about the painting’s character history too!

Merci !
I think this was my favorite video of your yet! Going to make a seasonal art mood board today!
I love all the shades of brown that fall evokes, she was right on with 'salty caramel' being the look of fall 🙂
Thank you for this superb lesson on using inspiration from beautiful paintings to create perfect seasonal outfits. Also enjoyed the drama of the Greek myth and discussion of the cycle of the seasons.
I love the chocolate short coat. The details, the back waistband and slanted front pockets, are feminine and beautiful. It’s very classic.
Sadly, it’s vintage, so I couldn’t buy it. The “similar” version isn’t anything special.
Thank you, Kimberly. We absolutely fell in love with this treasure we sourced in Paris while preparing for the episode. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, we couldn't find anything exactly similar, so we listed what we could find in the spirit of short coats.

Love watching your videos. It’s so nice to finally see the brains behind the channel! I wish I could work with such creative minds! ❤
Such a refined manner of expanding the video subject! ❤
I didn't see any shade of green in the outfits, which I love. Green seems to be a Autumn color.

Wonderful video! Thank you!!
Looks to me that the PV staff are naturals being in front of the camera. What a fabulous vid! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
This is such a great video, love the inspiration and choice of items! Also very interesting to learn about the team behind Parisian Vibe. Does anyone know where Viktoria's blouse is from? It's so lovely!
Thank you for watching!! The shirt is vintage 1920-30s. Cotton poplin.
Great episode! Love fall fashion! And was a pleasure meet a team!
Best regards from Chicago!

@@ParisianVibe thank you for your thoughtful response . I always look forward to your new videos. The one featuring Jamie Beck is a favorite 🌻
It’s a gem indeed😌.
@KarenSharin this channel’s fashion sense is pretty basic. which is ok for most, but def basic for more creative types.
I personally agree with you, it looks very safe, simple, no interesting shapes, no colors, no individuality.
What a good idea you have 🎉
Thank you! 😊
I love your channel ❤❤❤
Merci😘
Quels livres d'art et mode vous me conseillez ?
I cant fathom why some say the outfits are boring. Perhaps those who like trendy pieces in the hope of seeking attention? I personally like simple yet chic fashion like what was shown in this video 😊
Totally this.
Loved the fashion! Lea's analysis was a little too languid. A pleasure to see & hear Viktoria.
Thank you for watching 🙌☀️
Interesting!❤️
What shirt is Viktoria wearing?
Vintage 1920s😌
@@ParisianVibe ah, of course :) Thanks!

Nice but all outfits were missing a part, for example the last look needed a Burgundy bag to complete the similarity to the O’Keefe painting
Says you.
The art you took inspiration from was beautiful, the outfits not that much. They were extremely boring, absolutely nothing creative or artistic about them.
Isn’t that where your choice of accessories come in?

Hello, the model is beautiful, what is her name ? thank you !
💖💖💖
I understand your need to be international but I would prefer to hear all that in french.
Au moins une version separee en franchais! S'il vous plait❤
Very inspiring dialogue and such a sophisticated, poetic and elegant approach to fashion! With regards to the myth, the original is the Greek one with the main character being called Persefoni, the rest of the information was accurate 😊
The authority has spoken.
All that talk of art for these basic boring looks😂
Do you really want to spend your life grumping on the socials? If you find those looks boring, why bother looking? There must be a kardashian channel you can follow. Elan is not for everyone.
@@Kate-lk6tw ok relax it’s not that deep hon
They're pretty nice everyday looks but I guess people look for something more sophisticated on these kinda channels
Hillarious irony ....femininity through masculine otems and style: blazers, cuts, trousers, tremch and fabrics.
Mdrr tellement la "parisienne" à l'américaine
no diversity at all on this channel
The concept is interesting and I love to hear you both speak on it. But the outfits are very plain and boring.

Wow, your take is yours. Highly contested reading of the story.
I saw women in Paris wearing a beret.
That’s you. It’s not universal.
…..too much drama about nothing
Model?? Please....
