    7:42 your Sprag Clutch needle split was tiny compared to the R22 I fly. It would have been barely noticeable for my inexperienced eyes.

    The rotors started spinning well before you turned the clutch switch on, is that normal?

      Well spotted. No, it means a careless previous shutdown manoeuvre, where the pilot did not wait sufficiently so as to ensure the electric belt tensioner had reached the end of travel. Nothing overtly serious but if done many times causes unnecessary streching of the belts if left like this for long periods between use.

      Yes its how sprag clutches work. Even "disengaged" the clutch belts do actually transfer some power from the engine to the rotor assembly, its just without the clutch being fully engaged (by the belt tensioner) its not 100% power.

      @@joshuadalton6063 How a sprag clutch works has nothing to do with this. The belts on a Robinson do not drive when correctly untensioned. See comment above.
