What a shame. That truly was a great lock, very nice security features. I'm convinced springs and spring clips all go to flight school. What was that funky key pin in position three?
Great picking and an interesting gutting. I think that anyone that likes gutting locks has had a explosive or disastrous one. I like the offset interactive pin, i did a video about a much simpler lock that has a "similar" offset interactive pin. Thanks for sharing!! Bye!
Looks like you'd need a reduced key blank to keep the driver pins out of the keyway until you get the shoe in. The blank would need a groove on the side so the key pins aren't lifted, and then the bottom edge would need to be checked for clearance and filed back if necessary. To gut it, you would insert the modified key blank, turn it to the vertical position, insert the pinning shoe between the bottom of the blank and the driver pins, remove the blank, and then proceed as usual. Oh, and you would have to cut away the bottom half of the bow on the blank to keep it from interfering with inserting the shoe.
Well picked! Cool little lock with this interactive! I had the very same happening to me with an ISEO R6(vid [36] if you are bored) and since then I am super careful, when turning a dimple lock with the open keyway towards the drivers. By now, I ALWAYS insert the pinning shoe BEFORE the open keyway faces the drivers. This way it is a bit harder to remove the C-Clip since nothing prevents the core from rotating, but at least you will less likely brick the lock. I also had to learn it the hard way, but rescuing this ISEO cost me sooo much time that I really don't want to do this ever again... Thanks for sharing this, I hope others learn from this👍👍
I'm looking a the most secure lock available but there are some many and price points. Do you recommend this lock? Or are there some more superiors ones? I was looking for something that is anti drill, anti bump, anti-snap, and anti pick. Thanks
Being a complete noob, i e., not knowing a thing about lock picking, I'm thinking why not use compressed air, or something like it, to push up that last pin?
I am new, so forgive my ignorance. You say pins 1 through 6 are standard, but pin 3 looks different why? To clarify, I am referring to the bottom row of pins and pin 3 looks bomb shaped.
Pretty hard pick this one, and a step up from the magnetic pin version of the ABS… The gutting was an ABSOLUTE DISASTER though 😩
this video is so funny ash you are shaking like a shitting dog.

It’s a torpedo pin, it acts like a spool pin when over set
@@LockNoob first I've seen or heard of them.
Thank you.
Loved the video and yes I'm sad that the lock is now snapped but hey we all learned something. Great advise as always, thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks 😊
😬 it’s a cool lock!! But gutting may not be possible 😅 still a valuable video to show what can happen.
🐈⬛🐾🐈🐾🇬🇧🍻
I’m sure it’s possible… somehow!

Not a bad idea !

Awesome!

Great lock. Great pick. Elite level stuff. Bummer breakdown.. Respect to LN as usual.. yr may have to take the noob out of yr name.. lol
Lol
Thanks for showing! It does happen!
Love the video. Thanks for showing what can happen when trying to gut it.
Thanks, though I didn’t mean to!
Noted, never gut that lock.
Best not too lol
How do they even re-key it?
Carefully?
very nice lock Ash mate great job👍😎👊😊🇬🇧
Cheers Leon!
Excellent video 🙏🎄
Harder pick than the pin-in-pin of the previous ABS? The bitting was definitely extreme but I doubt all keys will be maxed out like that.
Yeah, I recon harder

Yeah, it’s my mistake. It’s an anti pick torpedo pin that acts like a spool when overset
is it April the 1st ?
Key pin 3 doesn't look so standard.
No, it’s a torpedo anti pick pin
Hello, can you take a video of the installation of the smart lock for me?
