As a straight white male in his late 50's, I'm only wearing a fedora away from being the perfect comedy stereotype. But I can only relate my own feelings and experiences. I first came across Helen, Catherine and Andrew via Gigless during the first Covid lockdown. At a time when I was receiving free food parcels as I was classed as CEV, and didn't know whether I'd ever be able to do a live gig ever again. I not only enjoyed the variety of guests, but also the superb cut and thrust comedy of Helen and Catherine's hosting. So when that moved to Trusty Hogs, I naturally followed. Since then I've laughed at the funny bits. Been sad for the not so good bits (RIP Pancake). But above all been able to share a small window into the lives of 3 phenomenal human beings. 🙂 Besides, it's all Olga Koch's fault. If she hadn't done her OK Computer radio show, I may never have come across Gigless in the first place. Because, whatever else I am, above all I'm a massive Nerd. 🤓
Also a straight American male in his 50s who has been listening to the podcast since it’s inception, due to the fact that I discovered Catherine Bohart on Mock The Week at which point I became completely enamored. The addition of Helen was really just like finding that piece of my life that was missing, though I hadn’t realized it yet! Love all of you and loved Andrew’s special to boot!
I'm a straight, American male in my 50's, and discovered Trusty Hogs a while back when you had a former Taskmaster contestant as a guest (I can't remember who). Since then, I've tuned in because you two are really funny and I like the sounds of your voices - at this point, your guests are just a happy little bonus.
My current trusty hogs routine is making a late breakfast on Saturday at 11ish (steam/fried egg on toast with avocado and a rosevear tea called "lazy summer afternoon"). I no longer listen whilst going to sleep, so I can hear/see every second. This morning, breakfast making was accompanied by a new trusty hogs jingle by my husband: 🎵 They're the trusty hogs, the hogs of trust, they'll solve a problem, if they must 🎵
I think if the sneezing pelvic floor thing is something you're worried about and has gotten worse Helen, you can always have a phone call with your GP and see what they say. Nothing to lose 😊
To add to the answer to the problem, in the nicest way possible, is B showing an interest in his friends? Obviously it's not an excuse for his friends making fun of him when he talks about university, but he said he doesn't have the same interest as his friends anymore so maybe theyre sensing this? And as a result are making fun of him being st uni because they resent that's all he wants to tslk about now?
Not super jazzed that the only reasons you think a guy could listen to this podcast is because of spying and voyeurism. A lot of people just don’t do echo chambers.
Oh 100%! Catherine is just taking an extreme jokey stance aha - we love all our listeners and know that there’s many wonderful men in the sty with us 😁🐷❤️

Thank you!!
👋another straight, white, middle-aged man fan here. Watched every episode. Love it!
Edit: 16:14 No it's not for Helen's tits 😄
Hahaha - thank you!
As a straight single male who listens regularly you chaps won me over when you featured on a Pappy's Turkey Brothers which was hilarious.
Haha - thank you!!
Kudos to Helen for getting all her vaxxes! Unfortunately the covid one costs around £100 for anyone who’s not older and/or has health issues 😢

ask them about Taskmaster😀😀😀
"One of them clearly has a very stern wife." is an amazing way to describe Peter and I'm now giggling. (I'm also a massive If Books Could Kill fan!)
Been listening since gigless during lockdown, when I was watching every online gig. Not listening for educational reasons 😂
Oh. I like the educational stuff as well. But it's not the primary reason I watch the podcast.

True... They may have a specialist that can help you with those private floor exercises which are much different than just plain kegels.
helen. it's normal. go to the doctor. they gotta pelvic floor therapy that'll sort you out. there's a 'device'.
What they said ❤
As a raging bisexual enby I’d just like to say I’m still wildly attracted to Helen even after this ep 🙃
the covid boosters are only free if you have certain health conditions or look after people who have them - check before you book xx
Put cotton socks on over your lotioned feet, it keeps the moisture in and dirt out, and helps with slipping too haha.

I’m 32 with no kids and I’ve found that tampons move about a bit more than they used to, think the sneeze pee is just an age thing 😅
Agree re pedicures. Easy to do at home. I'm screaming at the foot lotion bit "put cotton socks on in bed after the lotion!"
the two p's of old age - prostate and prolapse ..... work on the pelvic floor
Sounds like an episode title... ahah
